Good morning!
It is going to be warm and humid today, with a high of almost 90 degrees and a chance of a thunderstorm. I need to call the vet this morning about Maggies cough. It seems to be flaring up again, not sure if it has to do with this nasty hot and humid weather or not. I'll see what the doctor has to say.
Not too much going on here. My husband went back to work after having last week off. None of the girls have to work today, I'll see if they want to do something with me later. I'm letting them sleep in this morning and I'm enjoying my coffee and the peace and quiet!
I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!

hope maggie bes ok ~} love the flower they sure are in full bloom

Christmas in July you say? At Ottawa's Tinseltown, it is Christmas every day!

Yep. Today, I stepped into Christmas at Ottawa's magical Christmas emporium known as "Tinseltown." Kim and I made our first visit since March. Accompanying us and making their first visit were my mom and her husband as well as Kim's mom. They all couldn't believe the amount of Christmas in such a small space. Yet again, it was such a wonderful experience. Much like our favourite day of the year, Tinseltown never disappoints.

Upon entry, we were greeted by the holiday sounds of Bing Crosby. Despite being sounded by Christmas decorations, I was instantly imaging that I was sitting by the fire on a cold winter's night all the while staring at the dancing lights of the Christmas Tree. Magical.

Besides the smiles of on our faces, none of us walked out empty handed. Kim and I made a couple purchases, which I will share with you in picture form... and everyone else purchased some very nice specialty ornaments. It's never too early to plan ahead for your 2013 Christmas Tree! Speaking of 2013, only a few of their new items have arrived. I know that a few of these photos will appear to be similar to those that I took a few months ago, but I did my best to find new items to share. The good news? I will return with more photos nearly a month before Crown's annual (and my favourite thread of the year) Christmas Blossoms thread debuts in September. Why is that? Well, because I was informed that their entire 2013 stock should be on display by the end of August/early September. Hooray!

As always, I am happy to share some photos from Tinseltown. I really wish you all could experience it with me... but, most of all, I hope that you have the ability to step into a similar Christmas environment at nearly any time, too.

A quick reminder. I am not on the forum as much as I should be. My current job does not permit it and I really busy! If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message and I will be happy to answer them. However, I do hope to have the opportunity to enjoy your comments and everything else!

Enjoy the photos!

Welcome to Tinseltown - the giant Santa Claus is still taking his list of those that enter. He can do the same for you at your house! ...for only $1500. How does that price sound, Made?!

I was drawn to the back corner. The red Christmas Tree seemed quite interesting.

Note: I apologize for the glare on many of the photos. It was bright and nearly impossible to not have light bouncing all over the place!
wow! That is so cool, love it! Thank you for sharing those pictures.

Morning all! Hope all is well! We're headed to an area amusement park for a few hours.

It's officially DS birthday. He had a blast at his party. The weather didn't cooperate too much, but I was it was just wonderful to see him so happy and be together with my family.

Well, off to have some fun! Talk to you guys later! God Bless and keep smiling!

Oh I love the cake! Happy Birthday to DS, have fun at the amusement park!!!

Back home from downtown. It didn't take nearly as long as I thought it would. I have a few things to do around the apartment and then I'll be back to catch up.

Good Morning.

Alas, I'm alliteratively challenged this morning.
(Perhaps some guest contributions?)

While that is being considered, consider this:
Days to the Season: 128
Days to Christmas Day: 170
And with that, we have just passed under one week to the next Milestone, the 2/3 Season mark.
Then.....
Oh, then.....!

Hardly worth mentioning the weather. lt hasn't changed for quite some time now.
Humid and warm with an occasional rain.
A glance at our thermometer shows it reads 76 degrees here this morning.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Folks.
I hope and trust your week is off to a fantastic start!
how about
many merry melodies make Monday manageable?

I don't get the post-Fourth blues, but I do get a pre-fall blues. When we drive to Chico, we pass by cornfields and sunflower fields. I know that fall won't be here until all the corn has been picked and the sunflowers turn brown. It seems to take so looong!!! I hope you get some relief for your back, MC!

I did something to my back last night ... and tomorrow at the office we're moving our desks, furniture, and other stuff to the other end of the building! Bad timing.

Last day of the four-day weekend---no more holidays until Labor Day. Does anyone else get post-Fourth blues? I'll have to schedule a vacation day or two for a break.

Just rambling. Have a good Sunday, everyone!

Keeping you and your family in our thoughts, Ryan.

Hello all. I am behind on the posts. There is so much family in town for the funeral, so we have been busy seeing everyone. Hope everyone is good. I did read where Mgramsey is doing alright and I am glad! Off to church now. See y'all.

Beautiful pics!!!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm here at the office trying to catch up so I can be away for a few days. Elizabeth was awake before I left this morning, obviously not wanting me to go today. I promised her I would stop by the house to see her again before I leave. Love that girl o' mine!

I'll check in from the hotel this evening.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Aww, that's so sweet of her.

Have a Safe trip!!!

Keeping Maggie in my thoughts.

sounds like here...going to be27c (80f) but with the humidity it will feel more like 36c (96f), we may get a thunderstorm too.
Hope Maggie feels better quick.
Sounds like a good day to go to a water park somewhere! Enjoy your time with the girls.
