Christmas Countdown - 2013

Good Morning!! My son breaks up from school today for the summer. We are hoping the weather will keep up while we have a few things planned for next week. Can't wait for our trips out!

We are kicking off tonight with indoor camping. I have the fondue pot to substitute a real fire and the children's tent will go up in the middle of the living room. Fairy lights will create a starry night, nature sounds on the music player and many stuffed toy wild animals will adorn the campsite lol!

I've got some marsmallows, bananas , and shortbread for the fondue pot and burgers and curly fries for supper.

This morning I bought my first scented candle to put away for the holidays. It's called Frosted Pine and Twinkling Lights! It smells amazing!

Well I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I am so sorry things have been so hectic that I am not able to comment on individual posts. I am always thinking of you all and wishing the best for each of you my friends.........

She's hanging in there but my little boobala is still coughing. I hate it. I wish they could figure out whats causing it. My husband says the cough is probably bothering me more than its bothering her. But thats how us doggie moms are, I know you can understand that!

I will keep praying for Maggie. Why do you call her Boobala? I had to laugh when I read that as I called Bo that name and every time he heard the song Bad Romance by Lady Gaga, he would wag his tail and smile at me - it made him so happy!!! Thank you for reminding of that!!! {{{HUGS}}}

FestiveSpirit, my kids and I use to "camp out" in the living room all the time! I had so much fun doing that and now have joined the grandkids in the fun. You really have some clever ideas that I need to add to our "camp out"! Sometimes we built tents to sleep in, sometimes just sleeping bags on the floor but it was fun!!! Enjoy yours!!!

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

Tonight is opening night for Elizabeth! She seemed a little nervous about it when I left for work this morning, but I'm sure she'll be wonderful. They're actually having an informal dance recital at 2:30 this afternoon to showcase what they learned during their week-long intensive dance camp. Then we have to be back at 5:00 to prepare for the 7:00 show. Busy, busy!

I plan to work till noon, then get ready for the festivities. I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

I have ask, but has anyone had a cortisone shot before?-
I had knee surgery in April and I have been still feeling some pain in it, especially when I do any kind of physical activity. So, I went back to the doc's yesterday, he gives me this shot in my knee joint, and I'm telling you, today I feel great!!!!

Never had them thank god i dont need them lol but my mate did and they helped for a while , hopefully they help you as well

I went to the doctor this morning and it turns out that the receptionist gave me some false information over the phone. She told me I had to come in to discuss multiple food allergies. But it was multiple environmental allergies. Some of the things on the list are dust, pollen, mold, different kinds of weeds, trees and grasses.
Anyway, my daughter is starting to feel better. I have to call the doctor tomorrow to get some blood work results for her, hopefully all is well.

Glad you have found out what is wrong, hopefully they can give you tablets to keep it under control,
Glad your daughter is getting better and hope the results come back ok

Hello all. It's rainy and cooler today. Glad for the cool weather, and we'll always take the rain in July, but it is making for a very gloomy day.

We received some news today about a teaching position for my wife. The principal was all set to hire her, but due to the tornado related issues, they've had to put the hiring on hold. Not the news we were wanting, but it is what it is.

Thank you, still waiting for the doctor to call me with my daughters blood work results. She is feeling good today, she went out for a little while with her friends. She hasn't been out of the house all week.

I'm looking forward to going caroling tonight at the marina! Hee hee! Hopefully I will make it back from my SIL's appointment in time to partake in the activities!! Wedding tomorrow - no plans Sunday! Although my hubby says our sweet corn will probably be ready to come off about Sunday! Great! Just how I want to spend my Sunday - putting up corn. LOL! Ah well... It's worth it to pull that out of the freezer in the middle of winter!

Happy Friday!!

I have been researching & communicating with other brokers today, so much so that I don't even know where the day went.

How has your day been?

What are your weekend plans? Weekend CIJ plans?!

I'm loving this Fall weather!! It's only 68 degrees here, cloudy, and windy. It's been raining on & off today. I am burning some cinnamon coffee cake tarts, the house smells so good.

Harlowe & I are going to relax for a bit, then take our evening walk.
