Hey gang! Sitting here with Dr. Wifey celebrating another milestone in our life! She passed her board exam....so it's official....she's getting a raise....I really love her now!

Going to be lazy today, maybe watch a movie or two....Dr. Wifey wanted us to buy groceries tonight, but I think we might have to wait...

This weekend we have 2 retirement parties at the lake (together) Saturday. I am so excited to give the 1 lady her gift certificate for a new bicycle - we all threw money in together to get her a gift cert to the bike shop! She is going to flip!! Sunday we are having a "cookout" (actually my Dad is smoking a turkey) at my brothers for my parents SIXTY SECOND wedding anniversary!!! YAY!!!

Are you going to watch the Hall of Fame game Sunday night?

I have a love/hate relationship with pre-season football. I know the games don't matter and they can get pretty boring, but it's been so long since I've had football I of course end up watching, at least at first. Sometimes I like to see the second string guys or guys trying to make the final roster prove themselves. That can make for good games at times.

I do it all by myself. I've been a single mom for the last 4 years after getting us out of a very abusive marriage. It's hard sometimes but it's 1000 times better than it was before. Now I can do what I want when I want:???:

I'm sorry that you had to go through that but happy that you got out. I'm a triplet and my mom raised us on her own from the time we were 3. So I know how strong of a person that you must be to handle everything on your own.
