Yesterday was our 6 year Wedding Anniversary! Yay! We are currently renovating parts of the house. I swear monkeys build this place. Still going to get a deck and that will be sometime this month.

Good morning everyone! Holy cow I have today off! Work gave us the day off due to the civic holiday. Just relaxing and making bacon and toast for breakfast. Ash (My Wife) and William (My Son) are outside playing in the backyard. Yesterday was our 6 year Wedding Anniversary! Yay! We are currently renovating parts of the house. I swear monkeys build this place. Still going to get a deck and that will be sometime this month. I can't wait to sit outside on the cool fall days. Speaking of that, next month, September 22nd is the first day of fall! Coming fast, but not fast enough for my liking. At least the weather has taken a turn. Its in the low 60-70s all this week. Some rain but hey, Ill take it. Better then hot weather. Still keeping my peepers out for holiday stuff too. Well better get going. Have a Merry day today everyone!

She averaged about 2638(!) posts a month. Multiply the months since she left us, to make heaven a merrier place, & you will have your answer.

 

[Holiday]

Finishing up packing the car for vacation. Who knew we owned so many clothes? And that we would need to take ALL of them with us?!?

I'll check in periodically whilst swinging in a hammock next to a rushing stream and sipping on a cup of coffee...in the mountains!

Doc just in, froze the toe, just waiting for it to kick in before removing it. Ray is not very happy about the whole thing, but will feel much better when it is done.

Good evening!
Well things are finally winding down here. My husband started to install the wood floor. He started late because he was doing other things but he got part of the kitchen done. He still has a lot of work ahead of him. He has to install it in the kitchen, dining room, living room, den and a hallway. It looks good, I will post a picture when he makes some more progress. He's had enough for today and is cleaning up now. He'll do some more tomorrow after work. He smashed his finger earlier, its so swollen. The poor thing.
Not too much else going on here. My oldest is staying in tonight, she worked a 10 hour shift and is tired. She is watching a movie with her boyfriend right now. They were apart all of last year because he went away to a college in Florida. But he is back home to stay, he is going to transfer to a school here on the island. We like him a lot, I'm happy for them. My other two are out and about. Hopefully it won't be too late of a night.
I hope everyone enjoyed their Sunday and are having a good night!

Ouch! I hope his finger is better today!

A light rain yesterday but all in all, another real nice day for early August.
We are looking for a dry one today.
