Good Morning, Good Morning, Good Friends.

Sunday is here, and with it another count figure.
(The numbers are coming and going like ghosts.)

And the stats this morning are getting scarier and scarier:
Days to the Season: 94
Days to Christmas Day: 136

Why scarier?
Well, because we are now under half a week off from the 3/4 Season Milestone and the start of the last quarter of our journey.
And next month, my Friends......
Yes NEXT month......
Christmas Blossoms 2013 will be launched!
(Better be sure those camera batteries are charged and that you have plenty of disc space!)

Wow!
The humidity is back with a vengence. Just walking around the block with our sheltie leaves you drippy.
And he's a slow sheltie!
We have commenced the 2nd half of our weekend at degrees.

Have a Super Sunday, Everyone!

Update: My computer simply will not access the internet any more. Spent about 2 hours with tech support and all their suggestions came to naught. A technician is to come out on Tuesday with a new modem to see if that corrects the problem.
As such, my daily count posts will likey be delayed at least until then.
Please bear with me!

Crown do you want some volunteers to fill in until then?

Kind of pointless me asking as I just realized with out Internet you can't read my above question! :)

It is 12:30 AM and I can't sleep. I wonder what the problem is? The screaming ADULTS running up and down the halls? The flattest pillows that I have ever laid on in my life? Seriously these suckers feel like I am lying on pillow cases with no pillow inside. Maybe the drip drop sound every couple of seconds from a leak we have yet to find? Or it could be the constant buzzing noise? I think it is all of the above lol. Oh wait! Now I am hearing crazed beeping from cars right as I type this! Yet we are in the "peaceful and quiet" area of the hotel. Hmmmmm....!

Oh well. At least it is only one night of suffering.

Hope you all sleep better than me!!!!

It's probably better than the noisy and crazy side of the hotel cheesy , I hope you were able to get to sleep.

Good afternoon,

It already been a long day, we got awoken this morning to LC crying. He was crying because he dropped my wife's cellphone in the toilet, he wanted to listen to music while he was...umm...going. It's always something. We ordered a new one this morning, the phone wasn't working correctly anymore. (before it's unintentional swim)

I made some homemade blueberry bread, and tonight I am making my homemade Buffalo wings.

Just vegging out now, I would love to take a nap but my wife went to an Origami Owl party and I am watching the demons.

I hope you all are enjoying your Sunday

ttyl

Wow....talk about weird.....

I slept this morning until 10:00 am....I can't remember the last time I slept that late.

Got up, watched a little TV, then had to go buy some dress pants for work. Now, it's picking up the house and then to find something for us for supper.

Here before too long....I'm going to sit back and enjoy the rest of the day...teachers come back tomorrow...so here we go...

So sorry this is happening. A word of sage advice: NEVER travel without a few pairs of good foam earplugs. Most drug stores have them. I recommend Leight Sleepers. Roll 'em up smooth and tight with your fingers and slip 'em in your ears. They won't make you totally deaf, but they will deaden the noise around you enough that you can sleep. You'll be able to hear your alarm clock or wake-up call just fine.

Tell Molly she doesn't look 11 at all---she still looks like a puppy!

We are celebrating another birthday, Molly turns 11 today!

We got our digital TV yesterday and it was an adventure. We hooked it up, got through the setup, it was doing fine ... then it froze. No remote buttons worked, we couldn't turn it off, even with the manual button on the side. Called tech support, and they were stumped. So we took it back to the store and exchanged it. The second one works fine (fingers crossed). It has streaming capability, and it's a new experience to watch YouTube on the TV! Next we'll get an HD cable box so we can get the HD channels. Mmmmboy, the Christmas programs are going to look good!

Ah, modern technology: Two of us could barely lift our old 32-inch set---we had to wheel it out on a dolly---but I was able to carry and set up the new 40-inch set all by myself.

We just had lunch and ice cream at Friendly's, so I'm a little sleepy. I plan to enjoy the rest of the day, because tomorrow is shaping up to be hectic at the office. We'll be a bit behind because of the two-day offsite last week, and there are deadlines looming.

Glad you got it all straightened out!

Glad the new one works. Too bad about the trouble with the first one. Hope y'all enjoy the new tv!

Oh no!! ;)

I agree, it is always something!!

Hope you're able to laugh about it now, so much better than getting angry or crying (like I would!).

Hope you're relaxing & watching a good movie or something, now.

Hope your wife had fun @ the party!

Enjoy the wings & blueberry bread! They sound delicious :)

The teachers go back tomorrow, but this teacher doesn't, LOL!!! So, just for fun, I made Rice Krispies Squares with the chocolate cereal and strawberry marshmallows! So, so easy; less than 10 minutes to make and using only one pan, plus the pan for the finished product!!!
