Christmas Countdown - 2013

Good morning!
I have been on the run all morning. The dogs had a groomer appointment and I also had to run to the bank and the supermarket for a few things. It has been raining here all morning. We are expecting showers/thunderstorms for most of the day. I am going to stay in and get some chores done around the house. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day :-D

Oh, work has been pretty boring. We have some balloons left from a company event and were playing with them today.

Guess by the end of the month work will pick up again.

It makes perfect sense! I think your theory is partially correct. The reason I typed "partially" is that nowadays, needles are so small that they go in very easily.

I have the theory that the more one has to take shots the less he/she minds them. Don't know if this makes sense. English is not my native language and often I do not know how to write/say something....

How was your evening?

Like I said, I watched a couple NCIS LA episodes and then went to reading. Big mistake!!! Went to bed too late and therefore I'm very tired right now.

Guess I have to make it a rule, to not read in the evening. Oh well, won't work anyway.

Three of my ordered cooking books arrived yesterday. My mum already found a recipe, which she wants to try out.





Oh, that's sooo cool.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a beautiful day here in central Indy with a high in the mid 70's!! I love it. Now that rush hour traffic has passed, I'm going to be taking off here in a few for southern Indiana. I should be to the area I have in mind in about 90 mins. As long as I don't get distracted along the way. Which I probably will. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY and an even better one tomorrow!!!!

It is quite warm here in northern California this morning, and it is quiet in our neighborhood since today is the first day of school for students. It is somewhat weird not to be going into my classroom! On the other hand, I have quite a bit of "free" time! I will be checking in off and on today in between packing up stuff from our kitchen/den area. TTYL

You have that right! With chemo, though, I had a subcutaneous port, just below the clavicle. Not fun, but better than the alternative, LOL!
