Thanks!! We haven't seen any rain so far. It looks like it's hanging out up north.

The girls were good, thankfully!!!

We all had their homemade chicken salad sandwich & I had an apple for my side. Dad had their kettle chips, and Mom had chips & salsa. It was delish!

Their garden center is so cute! I need to go back for their Fall mum plants- so pretty!!

And they also have the cutest gifts, many are vintage. I didn't spend any money, I was good for once

Good afternoon.
I woke up with a sick daughter this morning. Sat in the doctors office for a couple of hours. Went back and forth to the pharmacy for a prescription. Had to cancel my daughters driving lesson and beauty parlor appointment because she is sick. She didn't show up to work today and I realized we should get a doctors note for her to bring to her manager so I just ran back to the office and got that. Ran a couple of other errands on my way home. I didn't do any chores or laundry yet. Whew! It's just one of those days. I am having a much needed cup of coffee right now and thought I would pop in to say hello!

Started a new book yesterday - Skipping
Christmas by John Grisham. The movie, Christmas With the Kranks is based on the book. It's very good so far!

I enjoyed that book, I recently upgraded my copy from paperback to hard cover. cheesy

I am enjoying it! I am sitting reading it right now. I wish I had more time to read. Before I had kids, I would pump out books, but reading now just isn't a priority anymore. I do it though when I find time. I have the ebook version on my Nook, for the iPad.

I have a basket of peaches I need to do something with tonight. Had to pick them early as there are so many on the two trees out back I was afraid the limbs would break from the weight. Too hot to bake so I am going to look for a few crock pot recipes to try. Enjoy your cobbler!

I know I am a few days late reading this, but my grandmother makes a homemade peach jam that is out of this world. That is something you could do with the extra peaches sometime.

I know I am a few days late reading this, but my grandmother makes a homemade peach jam that is out of this world. That is something you could do with the extra peaches sometime.
