My Tuesday is coming to an end, my eyelids feel very heavy.

My usual night shift tomorrow, so I will get MMC time in the AM.

Doctor said it's coming...wouldn't be surprised if the baby didn't come this week. If not this week, we will set a date next Monday. By next weekend, we should have a new member of our family....the excitement/emotions are starting to become overwhelming...

99 days....dang.....we've come a loooooonnnnngggg ways.....the 100 days before is my favorite....I love October, November, and December....and even better than that is that I am about to add my daughter's birthday to the list of events to during my favorite time...awesome.

You sound like my mom after she went back to work from vacation. She's a registered nurse and her job always stresses her out.

Edit: I forgot you guys asked me what classes I'm taking. I have law of mass media (hardest class), global news media, reporting and information gathering and principles of public relations.

Are you enjoying your studies?

My husband graduated with a major in Mass Communications & a minor in History.

Yes, everything I'm learning is fun. I really want to work in entertainment. I had actually thought about minoring in history because I love it so much. I haven't declared my minor yet, but its going to be film so I can learn scriptwriting.

What does your husband do now? Is the degree worth it? One of my fears is that I won't be able to get a job, let alone a good paying one. :-(

He worked in radio for 16 years, first as an intern, then a DJ, and got an opportunity in Nevada as a morning show producer. It was a much bigger market, so he jumped at it. He really liked it, but also wanted to spread his wings. He worked in promotions, and now is a Director for Larry The Cable Guy's charity- The Git-r-Done Foundation. They originally met in radio.

I am so happy to be home, AKA back here! This place totally is my second home I also knew it was the best idea asking you all about the dinnerware....I think I won! My mom loves Christmas just as much as me and nothing makes for a great day like starting it off with coffee out of a Christmas mug!

I almost ordered a ton of ornaments tonight but then I managed to contain myself :lol: I could go crazy on the spending if I let myself! I am going to be ordering a personalized doormat/rug or two, though! I found one design that says "Santa Stop Here!" and you can add your family name. Another has stockings over a fireplace and you can add in your family members' first names to each stocking. I'm a sucker for personalized things - especially Christmas things!!

I am still exhausted from this surgery and sleeping isn't exactly comfortable when I'm sore. I'm going to lay down but who knows if I'll sleep!! Good night everyone - sweet dreams!

We're glad to have you back home too!!! You were missed while you were gone.

I need to block amazon on my computer. I've been terrible lately about getting on there and orderings. At least 90% of them have been Christmas though. I'm running out of people to buy for though.

Thank you, everyone, for the prayers/well wishes - the garden survived! :???:
The tops of a few of the leaves on the mint, basil and tomatoes got a little dark, but the plants are fine. Looks like there could be at least 2 more weeks for the garden to grow and the vegetables to ripen - so happy!

Canned tomatoes and then made a pot of chipotle tomato sauce I am going to freeze later. Smells spicy! Guess I was on my feet too long - knee is sore now. Haven't taken anything for it yet, so I will shortly before I go to bed - should help me sleep, too! Yay!

The mosquito abatement truck just sprayed by the house - the mosquitoes are still out so I am glad they went by today.

There are still a few things I need to do before I can relax, so I am going to call it a night.

Man, talk about frustrating!

Tried to come here last night and enjoy the 100 day window and give everyone the scoop on the doctor's appointment. No such luck....nor this morning. My tappatalk couldn't log on either...but all is good now!

Doctor said it's coming...wouldn't be surprised if the baby didn't come this week. If not this week, we will set a date next Monday. By next weekend, we should have a new member of our family....the excitement/emotions are starting to become overwhelming...

One of my work colleagues is sick and I'm doing her tasks today. It is quite calm here though, therefore I have enough time to hers.

It's another beautiful morning here, makes you realize how blessed we truly are.

Time to look for work, submit some resumes, and I'm going over to a department store to introduce myself personally. My girlfriend manages the one in La Crosse, and referred me. I don't even know that they're hiring, but fingers are crossed.

Fortunately one of my friends came up with a cute Idea. We are going to tell the christmas story a bit different this year. She found a children book in which several different animals retell stories out of the bible. The christmas story is told by a fox, who wanted to snatch a little sheep for his dinner. While the fox tried to steal the sheep the angels came to the shepherds and tell them that Jesus Christ is born (and so on). The story is illustraded with very beautiful and cute pictures. We are planning to project those pictures and that someone (the childern if they dare) reads the story. The children will be angels and shepherds and the holly family.

We also want to have lots of different candels and old fashioned lamps (like petrolium lamps ect.) and a artificial campfire for the shepherds. Together with the christmas tree this should light up the church in a cozy way.

We will meet at the and of october again and disscus it in detail.

Wow! You caught my attention on that one! 2 bucks?! I had to search for it a few years before I found it because it was a PBS donation thing to even get it. I had it recorded on VHS but the tape was giving out. I finally found it online (there's plenty of them now) and it cost me more but worth every penny. Let me know what you think of it. It may or may not be your thing but I just LOVE it! I want to travel with that guy on all his Christmas adventures through Europe, especially Switzerland! That place is beautiful! I picture myself celebrating with everyone in that show. Thanks for thinking of me when you saw it!

Yes, my home country is very beautiful (Don't want to sound arrogant). Where was the show in Switzerland? Did they show christmas in the mountains? I hope that one year I will be able to celebrate christmas somewhere up in the swiss mountains. At least there will be snow for sure!

My wife would love them, she loves pumpkin. Me, pumpkin is one of my least favorite flavors out there. I once ate a pumpkin donut at work, I stopped eating donuts for 2 years, because all I could think of was that pumpkin flavor.
