In other news, I received an email yesterday that pretty much made my day! About a month ago, I had an interview in Brockville, ON for a position on the Supply Teacher list at the Upper Canada District School Board, which covers a lot of the outskirts of Ottawa and as far away as about an 1 1/2 hour drive. Anyway, I received an email yesterday saying that they are proud to offer me a spot on the Secondary Supply List! It is my first official teaching position since graduating in 2011. It only took just over two years... Wow. Needless to say, I am very excited for this opportunity. I do not know how many calls I will receive, but it will be great to be in the classroom again...even on a substitute basis. Aside from having to drive a bit to substitute, the only real downfall is that I will now need to find a flexible job.

Well it looks like that last day of summer 2013 will be spent watching Home alone 1 and 2! It may as well be fall to me because leaves are starting to fall and its chilly I guess Fall officially comes in tomorrow,I will drag out my décor next weekend and go buy some more during the first full week of October. I also meant to tell yall that some folks on my street have their Halloween stuff already out and that has me excited. October is almost here and when it arrives things really start moving fast and we have to savor every minute!!! Have a good day everyone!

Just talked my better half into getting a sitter and going out to eat at endless shrimp at Red Lobster. I only eat there in Sept when they have this promo going.. All you can eat shrimp any two ways for 15.99. Of course Brandi can't touch me in the eating department I can eat ridiculous amounts of food no one really believes I eat as much as I do until they see me in action...Thank goodness for fast metabolism. I never realized how special nights out where until the boys came along. Not complaining at all its just a change that is for sure! I would not change anything in my life right now...anyhow kylee is looking at me eyeing me to let her out into the back yard so I better get up and go let her out! Have a great sat night everyone!

I am also so happy that I am getting my dvr filled back up with Halloween and Christmas movies I lost during my move...I had so many different versions of Halloween 1 and 2 from the amc channel. At least I can start to rebuild my collection. Home alone 2 is about to come on too (thanks made!) I like it perhaps a bit more than the orginal due to the NYC Christmas shots. Its really a busy day I have to keep up with my Ga Bulldogs too they are playing in Athens,Ga right about now too! go Dawgs!

I have to agree about Home Alone. 2 is probably my favorite too.

I'm waiting for their holiday chai ... I couldn't find it last year, but I had some in 2011 and really enjoyed it.

I found these at bulk food store yesterday! There are more and will go back and try them when these are tried. They sell them one at a time so you can try them before buying a whole box. I am enjoying pumpkin spice right now, very good!
