Christmas Countdown - 2013

Good morning MMC gang!

I hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was pretty good. The weather was a bit warmer (around 20-22 Celsius) but otherwise very fall like. In the mornings we have fog and the sun gets through around lunch time. Should be that way the whole week.

My grandparents are still very shocked but they try to understand it. I think in about a month I can tell you what we spoke about. I'm very happy with the outcome.

Yesterday was very relaxing. In the morning I had my sunday school lession and the kids had fun. In the afternoon my mother and I went out on a fall walk. It was very beautiful outside.

Today is my fathers birthday and we will be celebrating a little in the evening.

Again I just fly through all the posts. 100 pages of new posts are just too much!

Good Morning! I started skimming through the posts but I'm not going to be able to read all. I hope everyone had a good weekend. Summer seemed to have made a come back here!

We had a good weekend. DH couldn't work on the car afterall as we are still waiting for the car part to arrive. However, a broken Tablet and a sudden leaking toilet soon took up any spare time! Thankfully I managed to oraganise a refund for the tablet as we haven't had it long! Now I need to by a new one, can't decide if to get the same or another .....

DH and I ended up having a good hearty laugh at everything that seems to be going wrong or falling apart lately. What else can you do hey? It's nothing compared to some people.

Fall has officially started and we are in the last week of September! I wasn't able to make my fall wreath , I just couldn't find the time but next year for sure
Which reminds me I still have my pine cones to do!!!

I have 101 things to get sorted today.... so I guess I better crack on with things.

BRENT - Congratulations on the teaching position.

STAR - I hope your leg heals quickly and you can be back to work soon. Thinking of you mate and praying that things get better!

BALLCOACH - Best of luck to you and your wife, sounds like we will be welcoming your little lady soon!

Good morning all my Christmas friends!

Just sitting here listening to the latest podcast and drinking a coffee. Chilly morning out today too! The tree across the street is starting to change color! William painted a pumpkin on the weekend because he cant wait for halloween. I watched Christmas Vacation last night because I cant wait for Christmas haha. He is getting just as bad as I. We made a countdown to Halloween calender. Soon I will be making him a countdown to Christmas calendar. My Wife went to costco with her Mom yesterday. I said for her to pick me up a few Christmas trees. She said jokingly, "Why don't we just get a few more for the house?". Then I said "YES! You are getting it now!" as I laughed. Wish she had the same Christmas spirit! Oh well. Getting closer to my Christmas movie marathon. Id invite everyone of you if you lived close! We would have a Pre Christmas bash! Well time to get going, tonight I'm buying a plastic light up santa to put on my porch after work! Ill take pictures to show you all when I get it

So now I have to order everyone here to start cleaning this place up! Amazing what you notice form a chair when you sit in one spot long enough.

In between my work tasks, I'm browsing through genealogy forums. Such an interesting topics. Mostly I'm interested into search for family members who got lost during WWI and WWII.

I really like this time of history and at the moment I'm reading books regarding that topic.

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's a beautiful morning here in central Indy where we stand at 56 degree's on our way to 70 for the day. Not much going on here today. Just some cleaning to do around the house and then maybe a walk in the woods. I also have to feed my neighbor's cat. They left for Madison, WI this morning for a few days. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing special to report here, just another Monday at the office. I'm annoyed with my cable Internet at the moment---I tried to stream some Amazon Instant Video yesterday evening via our Blu-ray, but it kept stopping and reloading, even with a wired connection. I checked the speed, and it's down to a crawl. The FAQs online say to reset the modem, so I'll have to try that when I get home. I hope that works. I never had a problem watching streaming video before, even when we were on DSL.

I'm taking next Monday off as a vacation day. If I don't have much I do, I may watch some Christmas DVDs!

I'll try but I can't guarantee that she will let me!!! She usually gets mad that she can't go outside while they are gone. I can't sit back there all day to let her back in when she is ready though.

Hi MMC! Happy Monday. Feeling fallish here in PA today. It's 56 now and we just got home from dropping Jude off at kindergarten and going to the park and man, was it chilly with the breeze! LOVE IT! I am wearing a cozy sweater. Noel and I collected pine cones and I started a pine cone garland. I was looking at photos of my outdoor decor last year and got excited!
