Good Morning MMC!!!!!! Today is going to be the warmest day of the week at 60 degree's. Then the cold front comes through tonight and it's going to get chilly!!! I loved listening to the weatherman this morning and hearing him talk about frost and freeze warnings. Plus snow!!!!! Tuesday and Wednesday nights!!! Some of it may even stick on Wednesday night!!!! Yay!!!! Not much on my agenda for today. Just sitting around with my foot up. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

As much as I love watching the flurries, I hope we don't get any real accumulation before Halloween The poor kiddos will have to cover their costumes, and be extra careful out there.

We had a little excitement over the weekend. On the side of the state road below our house, some hunters had a bear treed. They were ready to shoot when some tourist driving by saw it and stopped. The hunters couldn't shoot with all the people around and the tourist were arguing with the hunters and refusing to leave. It got a little heated but the hunters finally gave up. The bear was gone the next morning.

gotta love those tourists! What if those hunters were getting food for their families for the winter? What right do they have to dictate to others what they are allowed to eat. If it was me I would have shot it anyway.
Years ago up north there was a terrible problem with to many wolves, city folk from Vancouver flew up to stop the people who have to live with this every day from shooting. them to protect their families and livestock. I suggested they fly the extra wolves to Vancouver and put them in these peoples back yards to look after.

I feel the same way. I don't want to be walking through the snow on Halloween for trick-or-treating! Thursday, the day we are supposed to get snow, EA has a parade she is supposed to twirl in. We'll see how it goes!

I was just meaning cable, it has bunny ears so cable or satellite not needed, of course you would have to plug it in...unless it used batteries

I am going to join a gym today. Wish me luck, lol. I'm going to need it. I am out of breath after going up a flight of stairs. I don't know how I made it through a 5 mile walk yesterday. Probably because we were moving so slow, there were so many people.

Good luck at the gym! What a good and healthy choice! :] I use to enjoy my gym when I was going there every day.

I have some news!
We just bought a house!!!

And we have to move in by December 1st!
So I can't start Christmas in November as usual this year....

The house we are moving into is outside the City, on the countryside with view to the mountains, woods and fjord
(but just ten minutes away from here)

We are so happy! :-D

Good evening everyone! I hope you all had a good Monday! :] Mine was much better than I had expected. Usually Monday is not very productive day but this time it really was. I finished my first university assignment! Yay! ^^ Also, my former landlord messaged me inviting for a coffee and a chat. How sweet is that? We got along very well when I was renting a room at her house but I appreciate the fact that we still keep in touch even though I moved out in June.

Good afternoon everyone!

Another weekend has passed and we're on to the final full week of October. In Canada's capital, the leaves have changed and mostly fallen. Temperatures are also falling. Highs into the upper 40s/single digits. While some of you are enjoying snow, we're enjoying overcast and a some light drizzle. Not great, but it could be worse.

I didn't have an opportunity to do some Christmas searching this weekend. The only things that I saw were in the grocery store. Perhaps I can make it out to the mall sometime this week. If not, I think the weekend is a must!

I hope everyone is getting their week off on the right foot. Have a great Monday!
