Christmas Countdown - 2013

Good morning!
Well I sat myself down in bed last night to do some reading and immediately fell asleep. I woke up at 2:00 in the morning. The book was still in my hands, I was fully dressed (including shoes), never took my makeup off. I hate when that happens. Then I found my husband on the couch in the den, the tv was on and he was sound asleep. What a lively bunch we are. Getting old stinks. And of course after I settled back in to bed I was wide awake and tossed and turned for the rest of the night. Then one of my cats jumped on my night table at about 3:00 a.m. and I swear she was looking at something in my room, but there was nothing there. Unless she saw a ghost, lol. My cats do that once in a while and it really freaks me out. Anyway, its probably going to be a long day. My goal is to get all of my daily chores done and go food shopping at some point. I will be happy if I get that done.
I hope everyone is well and has a happy Saturday!!!

Harlowe does that too, and it freaks me out!! Have you ever seen The Haunted on The Animal Planet?! Hmmmm.....

You had me chuckling about being a lively bunch! Lol. I feel the same way sometimes.

Good morning, everyone! Sorry I've been absent for a week or so, but it's been soooo incredibly busy here at my house. I know I try to check in at least say hi, but like I said, it's just been non-stop. If I try to tell you everything that's been going on with my kids activities, you will get bored reading!

Anyway, how are you all doing? We've been doing very well. I had a great week with my kids. DH was very busy - he worked his normal days and took a class all week, so that made me extra busy, on top of everything else, but we had a lot of fun, everyday.

As far as the weekend, he's actually away now, at the Pitt vs. Navy game, which it's at Navy (in Annapolis, MD). The kids and I are spending the day watching Halloween specials on Disney Jr., then this evening, we have a Halloween parade EA will be twirling in. My sister and boyfriend will take DS, that way he can watch it.

Tomorrow will be just spent relaxing, since I head back to work tomorrow night. I know I've missed a lot on here, important things as well. Know that I am thinking of all of you. Miss all of you dearly and pray for all of you daily as well!

It's another chilly October morning in Ottawa. Lots to do today. I have a big interview on Monday. I have to go to a friend's house. He is going to help me prepare. The interview is for a temporary teaching position until the end of January. Yes, I could have temporarily have my own classroom. Crazy, isn't it? I just need to prepare a lot this weekend. With all this, I am going to need to send in my resignation for my current job. On top of this, I keep receiving phone calls to supply teach. If I don't get the temporary position, I will be making myself available to supply as of a week from Monday.

Things are changing for me, aren't they? I have went from no employment for a month to too much employment! I feel terrible for resigning from my position after only three weeks, but this is the profession that I have been chasing for the past two and a half years. I hope they understand.

I should get going. I have a busy day ahead. And, yes, this day also includes going to the mall to search for Christmas decorations! Very excited!

Have a great Saturday, everyone! The weekend has arrived. It's the final one of October. Let's enjoy it.

Everyone is asleep but that's okay! You'll all just have a post to read when you wake up in the morning

It was a boring day here. I ran some errands and then came home and just relaxed. Some good TV shows were on tonight so I let myself unwind for a couple of hours. Now I am exhausted and my arm is becoming stiff and sore. I'm ready for bed!

Tomorrow is going to be a Halloween themed day. I bought some of those Pillsbury Halloween cookies so I will be making them. We're also going to try to get some pumpkins to carve and then make some pumpkin seeds. The day will be finished with snacking on candy (okay it's early and I'm cheating...don't tell) and watching movies.

Hi Snow,

I have a fun weekend planned. Tomorrow morning I'm going to the monthly men's prayer breakfast at my church. I hardly ever make it to that breakfast so I'm looking forward to it. Tomorrow night a Halloween party and Sunday I'm taking a road trip with a friend to Galena, IL. It's such an adorable and charming little town. I'm hoping for a beautiful fall day.
