Good morning everyone!

It's another chilly October morning in Ottawa. Lots to do today. I have a big interview on Monday. I have to go to a friend's house. He is going to help me prepare. The interview is for a temporary teaching position until the end of January. Yes, I could have temporarily have my own classroom. Crazy, isn't it? I just need to prepare a lot this weekend. With all this, I am going to need to send in my resignation for my current job. On top of this, I keep receiving phone calls to supply teach. If I don't get the temporary position, I will be making myself available to supply as of a week from Monday.

Things are changing for me, aren't they? I have went from no employment for a month to too much employment! I feel terrible for resigning from my position after only three weeks, but this is the profession that I have been chasing for the past two and a half years. I hope they understand.

I should get going. I have a busy day ahead. And, yes, this day also includes going to the mall to search for Christmas decorations! Very excited!

Have a great Saturday, everyone! The weekend has arrived. It's the final one of October. Let's enjoy it.

Good Luck with the interview!!!!! I'm glad things are finally starting to fall in place for you!!

Hope they're having fun & staying warm!!

I hope they are too!!! I don't want it to be horrible for them since it's there first time going camping.

Thanks Made!
I'm jealous that you're back from the supermarket already. I still need to go, I'm dragging my feet today.
Hope you have a great day!!!

Ours was having a huge saturday sale so I knew I had to go early if I wanted to get my peanut butter and coke before they ran out.

Well forget the movies then!!! We'll just have a party!!!!!!!

I'll bring the drinks!!!

They are all set, but I'm sure they'd welcome you & more spirits!!

This has been the neatest thread. I discovered it as soon as it started last year. I put the milestones in my ical. When one comes up I take a screen pic and send it to our boys in college. It sure has helped time go by faster. Thanks

I'm glad you're enjoying the thread, Slim. Stop by as often as you can. What a great idea to do with your boys. I am sure it does pass the time by!

It's never a simple fix, is it?! Always a fancy gadget. Hope the problem got taken care of and everything is okay!

Yes, thanks, they had the part and fixed it in about an hour. I don't know what I was thinking when I typed the post---the gadget gauges the AIR-to-fuel ratio, not water-to-fuel! Duh ...

Would you believe---in all the years we've been driving Corollas, neither of us had a Check Engine light come on. But then again, we have them serviced regularly by the book.

Hi Sugar, you have been missed! Sounds like you have a fun day planned. I bet the Halloween parade will be a blast. My girls use to twirl when they were younger, I loved it! Enjoy your weekend!!!

Breakfast this morning was gingerbread bagels with honey-pecan cream cheese! Yummo! Work to do to get more things ready for the renovations!

This does sound good!

Hey guys!!

Hope you're having a great morning =]

I had a nice surprise delivered to me- Love At The Thanksgiving Day Parade & Hitched For The Holidays!!

I had pre-ordered the DVD's a few months ago, and they had slipped my mind.

I can't wait to watch them again!! They were some of my favorites from last years Hallmark Christmas movie premieres!

I really liked Hitched for the Holidays and my other favorite from last year was Matchmaker Santa!

Well, it's about to happen. We are about to leave our baby with someone else of for the first time. We are going to go get groceries and look at some Christmas stuff....

I don't know why I'm so anxious....I'm leaving her with my Mom...but I'm so nervous....for crying out loud, the woman we are leaving her with raised me...wait....that explains the nerves.....

The international lunch sounds like a lot of fun, I hope it goes well.
Enjoy the time with your friend this evening, let us know what you end up making for dessert!

It went very well, thanks! I met a lot of international students and had a nice conversation with the director of the campus. It is always nice to talk to him but since he's always very busy, we are not really able to see him very often so it was a great opportunity to chat. :]
I was thinking about baking a cake but then I decided to go for something healthy. I have some ideas of what to make and if it turns out visually appealing, I will post a picture too. ;]

Have a great time at the international lunch today!! And a fabulous weekend, Victoria!! ❤️

Thank you! I wish your weekend to be nice as well. :]

Gingerbread bagels? Honey-pecan cream cheese? What else do you have there, in the US? ^^ It made me hungry. :/
