the lights on the door only come on when someone comes to it and then plays spooky sounds.
The little ghost on the left is also motion activated and wiggles around when activated.

in just over an hour we have had only 12 kids stop by.
It appears quiet out there now, so I think I will shut ddown everything, it is just raining to hard. Wind is gusting and it really does appear very spooky out there.

It's spooky here to Star!!! The heavy rain has arrived and the wind is picking up. Tornado watch was issued for south of me. I think all but one town canceled trick or treating for tonight though and tomorrow looks like a much better night for it!!

we just had wind wranings start here, expecting gusts up to 90km per hour. Predicting that power will most likely go out. Not surprised to hear that. Hope you all stay safe there.

Well, Halloween was disappointing. Barely any kids said "Trick or Treat" when they arrived. They just stood there holding out their pillowcases. I think maybe five said thank you. So many kids/teens didn't even wear costumes! When one child saw what we were giving away, they came up with an elaborate lie as to why they needed extra! It was crazy! The weather was also terrible - gusts of wind and downpours.

Definitely different than Halloween in the past!

Hello and happy Halloween to my fellow MMC'ers. I had a blast giving out candy tonight and checking out all the creative costumes. We had off and on rain so not as many kids as I expected but still a fun evening. Halloween is such a fun and goofy holiday, I just love it. Hope you guys had a good one. TGIF!

Sorry to read it was a bummer Halloween, that bites big time. Times do change and not always for the better. Like you said..Bring on Christmas!

You did a great job decorating. Too bad more kids didn't stop by to see it.
