Hellooo everyone!!! Sipping some gingerbread tea and I have some chocolate chip cookies baking away.. mmm! All of the boys of the house are out at the park so I am here, basking in Christmas glory!! Loving Kringle Radio!!!

We had a lovely family hike today.. fall foliage is peaking and it was just beautiful. We went on a few different trails than our usual and saw some beautiful birds and deer. The kids had a blast and my city born and bred husband is finally learning to enjoy the great outdoors! Lovely morning.

This afternoon, my husbadn is making himself some wings on the grill (likely it's last hurrah!) and we'll probably light a fire outside. The kids love to do that (so do I!!)

Tomorrow is Byer's Choice GRAND ILLUMINATION! If the timing is right and we get home from my aunt and uncle's early enough, we will go! THey light all of their outdoor lights tomorrow and it's just beautiful and so close to our house!!

Loving that everyone is getting ready to decorate or already doing it!!! My fall stuff is comign down slowly but surely and I did a major cleaning yesterday. I can't wait to start bringing my beloved Christmas bins up tomorrow!!

I had an idea that I was going to post in the Thanksgiving forum but I wasn't sure if anyone would participate. If you think that'd you join in, let me know and I will go post it in there. I didn't want to start it if no one was going to jump in!

I know a lot of people do this online or at the dinner table - every day during the month of November, you're supposed to say something that you are thankful for. It can be big or small, serious or not so serious - anything that you appreciate. It's such a great way to bring some positivity into your day! I figured we could all post daily and say something that we are thankful for, or we could just edit our original posts and add to it each day.

Plus it's a fun way to lead up to Christmas....by the time we're done it'll be December! :-x

Good Afternoon!! Im liking the decorations in this thread and Im so glad Im not the only one getting ready to decorate!! lol
Im in PA visiting family, and I just moved to the mountains of NC and Im sooooo excited to get home and decorate for my very first Country Mountain Christmas! Of course this has me re-thinking my entire deco scheme...but Im confident I will be up and christmas-sy by the end of next week!!

A Country Mountain Christmas sounds simply delightful! I hope you'll share photos!!

I definitely think you should start that as a Thanksgiving thread, that way you can get some of the members who aren't regulars to this thread to join in. I am sure George Broderick would have some funny quips to give us all a laugh. I would participate, probably not everyday, but I would enjoy reading what others write.

Go for it, Jennifer!!!!

Good afternoon,

I am completely immersed in Christmas stuff today. I have Music Choice Christmas on, I am going through my MP3's also, trying to figure out what I should add or take out of my player. I am resting up as my back is in quite a bit of pain again today. It is me and one of our cats, Alex, on the bed listening to the music. My wife went to one of those parties that friends sell jewelry, my wife sells Mary Kay, so she feels she has to go to others when they have them.

Hmmmmm, I wonder if there are such things as Christmas ornament selling parties.

My wife ran out and bought that huge nutcracker that LC fell in love with. remember the picture:

He is going to be in shock on Christmas morning when he opens it up. Rite Aid already has a 50% off sale on all Christmas!!! They aren't even close to being done setting it up.

I should get back to my Christmas music fun, I am loving doing this right now. It will probably be the only time I get to do it since I can't go back to work until Wednesday, after that I have to decorate the house.

Keep enjoying your Saturday!!!

Hey everyone! Hope you're having a wonderful day! I've been reading some of the other boards and enjoying the Hallmark movies that have been on. I am off to get a shower, but I will be back to read the posts from the day.

Keep smiles on your faces!!! :!!

what up.....just watching Supertalent (the German version of America´s Got Talent)....

a guy was performing with his Border Collie.....too cute and dog had fun.....I just fell in love with the dog

Been jamming to the Duck Dynasty Christmas cd all afternoon. I like it!! I was shocked how good it was.

Now to get ready for trick or treating. It starts in 30 minutes here tonight!! Hopefully we will get some here at my apartments.

Well of course the album is good! Luke Bryan is on it!

How did it end up going? Did you get very many trick-or-treaters?

Home again! Very wet and quick trip.
Right now I am making a batch of granola, then I have to get busy with those cakes.
Hope you are all having a great day!
Will try and catch up here when I get a chance between tasks.

caught a lil cold yesterday...nose was stuffed....today I wasn´t doing sooo great, but not as bad as I thought I would....now I am pretty sure it will not become another episode of bronchitis....and will be over latest by Monday....Actually by this afternoon I wasn´t feel sick no more....just tired with a little headache....so I think tomorrow I will be doing better already.....YAY

Okay, if we don't get any kids soon, I'm going to eat all the Milky Ways and be on a sugar high.

I still need to send you the picture of the kids candy bowls. I will have to do that here this evening.

You can come and visit, help eat the candy and all the treats, then you will truly be on a sugar high! Heck you'll be diabetic by the end of the trip!!!

We just got back from shopping and running around (6 hours on the road and shopping)! While we were out, we stopped at the local CVS and got our flu shots for the season; fun-fun.....lol

I'm going to relax for a couple of hours and then were going out to dinner at the "Macaroni Grille", I've been there twice before and I'm not a big fan but that's where Zach wants to go for his birthday dinner....

One good thing, is that the weather has all cleared up and the sun is now shinning brightly outside but the temperatures are supposed to start dropping tonight into the low 40's and tomorrow night with the low's in the 30's. I like the cooler weather this time of the year, it just feels so right~

Good evening!
Well we picked up the new car earlier and I like it. The technology is a little too much for me but I guess I'll figure everything out. I'll play around with it more tomorrow. I'm exhausted right now so I think I'm going to turn in.
I hope everyone is well and had a happy Friday!
Goodnight and sweet dreams!

I hope you're getting new vehicle figured out and you like it!

My favorite Christmas commercial just aired tonight!!!!! Yay!!!! I had to rewind and watch it three more times. It sounds silly but it's the PA lottery commercial LOL! There are so many houses lit, carolers singing, lots of fluffy snow falling - love it!

This is my favorite time of the year!

I know it's late so I hope you all had a wonderful day. Sleep well & sweet dreams! When you all wake up in the morning you can tell me what you have planned for the weekend!

I love that one as well! DH favorite one is the Eat n' Park one, where the tree picks up the star from the ground. I like that one as well.

Good evening,

I stayed home from work today and went to the Dr, I am now to be out of work until Wednesday.

I am trying to stay awake for Music Choices switching over to Christmas.

I am falling asleep while typing this since I am on a heavy muscle relaxer.

Good night everyone.

Seeing that you are on a muscle relaxer, I'm assuming you must have hurt yourself, Xmas. I hope you feel better soon!

Good morning!
It is going to be mostly sunny today with temperatures in the lower 60's.
I straightened up the house and started a couple of chores so far. I need to walk the dogs after I finish my cup of coffee and then head out to get my food shopping done.
My girls are all off from work today. That doesn't happen very often. The plan is to have lunch at The Cheesecake Factory and then go to the mall. I'm hoping to pick up a few Christmas gifts while we're there. I am excited and so ready to start shopping!
We'll meet up with my husband later for dinner, I'm going to make tacos and enchiladas for dinner!
I hope everyone is well and has a very happy Saturday!!!

So jealous! The closest Cheesecake Factory is around the Pittsburgh area. When we are out there, we always have to eat at one. I love it. The food is sooo good and you the cheesecake is to die for! I hope you enjoyed for the both of us! :)

Good Morning, friends!!

Making coffee, and sitting by the fire watching Hallmark- so awesome!!

Have a blessed, Christmasy day!!

xx

I'm doing the same thing now, but I just don't have the fireplace on! Hehe - it's actually been pretty warm here. Is it cold there?

Good Christmas morning my merry friends!

Well. Its official. My house OUTSIDE is decorated and the lighting of the house lights happened last night. I took yesterday off to do it. I had to work an hour and a half on friday but that was fine. I headed out to walmart and bought 2 boxes of old school lights. I have always wanted to put them on my house. Well I cant do a lot this year because hydro is going up this month yet again (sheesh). So I pulled out the ladder, loaded up the Christmas Vacation theme on my phone and started decorating. The Santa is the newest addition to my Christmas collection this year! YES I set my timer and watched them light up last night. My Wife thinks its crazy but I saw all the cars slow down to look. It was simply AWESOME. Here are the pictures!
