Hey MerryCarey! Sorry to hear that Mr. has been ill. I will be praying for him!

Thank you! It was just a bad chest cold. He had a rough few days, mostly over the weekend, so I made him chicken soup and tea and played nurse. He stayed home from the office until today and is doing much better.

I can bring a projector and movies … if someone brings a generator to run the projector on!!

You and Har have to set up a tent too at Best Buy in Ohio!

MerryCarey bring the projector. We need some movies to watch!

Who else is coming???

We can have an MMC party there and not have to pay hotel fees to finally meet everyone! =)

Whoa … mental fatigue. 9:30 to 6:00, with only a 30-minute lunch break. I think I'm nearly through proofreading that website. Without a site map, it's hard to be sure! Just clicking on all the links as I go and hoping there are no links missing, or those pages won't get proofread! Along with that today: an ad in 13 different versions … and after I got through proofreading all those this morning, they tweaked the line breaks this afternoon, and I had to read all 13 of them again! No wonder I'm kinda punchy!

Just hoping that the short week next will will be an easy one.

Getting very excited for Thanksgiving! Headed to Palm Springs, California a week from tonight to spend the holiday with my family from Minnesota who I rarely see. My grandma in Minnesota has a second house in Palm Springs that I haven't been to in years, so it will be nice to be back.

How nice that you get to spend Thanksgiving holiday with your family - have a safe trip!

I think they already did, I went "a** over teakettle" yesterday when I tripped over a flatbed cart we use to move them to and fro.

I landed hard on my right side, my arm hurts and I got a Charlie horse where my keys are kept in my pocket. On the good side, my back stopped hurting after I slowly lifted myself back up.

I hope your arm is better!

Okay, All special posts have been copied into the new thread. I managed to cross the 100,000 posts mark while doing it to. So to celebrate, I'm going to take some Benadryl and go to bed. Goodnight, Everyone!!!!!!!!

Congratulations on the 100,000 posts mark!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I apologize for my absence yesterday. Our network was down all day, and I'm the local "IT Assistant" for the real IT guys in Nebraska. I spent the day troubleshooting hardware, then replacing the switch. It's finally working, so I'm back.

Today is Elizabeth's 13th birthday! It's also our 19th anniversary! I can't believe Elizabeth is 13. I have a picture of her on my desk when she was around 6. If she jumped up on my lap today looking just like that, it would make me so happy. Not that I'm not happy; she's growing up into a beautiful young lady, inside & out. I'm so very proud of her, but I miss carrying her with one arm, or putting her on my shoulders for the long walk across the Walmart parking lot.

Ack! Ignore me! I'm just a little weepy at her reaching this milestone. I cooked her favorite omelet this morning, and we let her open a couple of presents before school. We'll have a big family party for her on Sunday after Nutcracker.

She has her full Nutcracker dress rehearsal this evening, and she's excited about that. It'll be a long night tonight. LOL

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

I'm sorry these wishes are a day late: A very Happy Birthday to Elizabeth! Happy Anniversary to you and Nancy! I hope the dress rehearsal went smoothly and that the performances do, too!

Well, uni sometimes feels like a full-time job. I don't have that many lectures in a week but the workload outside the classroom is quite big although manageable. :] As for the blood donation, your case is very inspiring. I hope it wasn't my last time donating blood too.

Good evening! How is everyone's week going? I'm happy it's Friday. I'm now going through my last (for now) assessment which I'm submitting tomorrow. Yay for that. Also, I finally got in touch with my mum. I haven't heard from her for a week which is quite unusual. When I caught her on Skype, she told me she has been feeling very bad lately. She got one of those attacks with high blood pressure and very high pace of heart beats few days ago. Luckily, my dad was at home that night so he took my mum to the emergency department. She has skipped her job for two days now and been visiting different doctors to get many tests done. Her heart, liver and pancreas seem to be okey. Doctors found renal calculus (I guess this is the name in English). Fortunately, they are small enough to be washed out by drinking lots of filtered water and lingonberry tea. Anyway, doctors don't think that current renal state was the reason for those attacks so my mum is going to have her stomach and intestine biopsy done on 3rd December.

I'm sorry for quite a long post. I'm very worried about my mum and I wish I could be at home right now. I would very appreciate if you guys kept her in your prayers for nothing bad and more serious to happen. I would be incredibly thankful for that to you all.

Best wishes to all, and always make you health your top priority.

Keeping your mom in my thoughts and prayers.

Well another crappy day here. I got a call shortly after 11am from one of my mom's coworkers saying that they thought she was having another stroke. She wouldn't let them call an ambulance, so I rushed up to her work and took her to the ER. After another round of tests, they decided that it was another TIA and they decided it was safe to send her home. I didn't agree with the last part since she still couldn't walk on her own and was having a hard time swallowing. They said she would be fine though and sent her home. Now that we are home, she does seem to be doing a little better though. So hopefully she is back to normal by tomorrow morning.

Oh, made, how scary. I hope your mom is all right! I will keep both of you in my prayers. {{{HUGS}}}

Good evening, everyone! Just stopping by to say hi and goodnight! I am off to take a nap before work tonight, then I am off for the weekend! I can't wait. Hope you all have a great day tomorrow. I'll talk to you all then! :-D

Good evening, MMC!

Camden update: he is going through lots of tests and evaluations right now. I'm not sure if he has been moved to a regular room yet but there is some hope that he might be released tomorrow! Thank you so much for the prayers!!!

Long day today. Laundry was done this morning and then there was an estate sale to go to later - found a few things for the store, one of which requires a lot of cleaning which is probably why I found it at such a good price. Returned calls when I got home, did some chores and then took a walk around outside with the cats. I took Shaggy out some special peanut butter dog bones - he spazzes whenever he sees them and then when he eats it sounds like he is saying yum, yum over and over. Palmer wants me to go read so she can sleep on my lap - I think my knee could use a bit of warming!

MERRY dreams!
