Morning all. Haven't been able to get on here as much as I'd like as work is hectic at the minute. Hope you are all well and ready for Christmas. I'm getting there, shopping almost finished except food and finally got my outdoor lighting finished last night. I've been loving the drive home at night though, seeing all the lights springing up. I've been taking detour lol.

Good morning. Looks like I am starting to get my wish for snow. We got snow and ice the day before about 5"-8" and they were only predicting an inch or 2. I just looked out the window here at the office and it's snowing it's butt off right now. The streets are already covered, right smack in the middle of rush hour in Baltimore; Oh that's not going to be good... At least I was the smart one and got up 4:45 this morning and headed into the office early~
They are calling for another 4"-6" of snow today and I just love it! It's always great when your on the inside looking out and not driving around in the stuff.....

I am back down to 1 dog. Our friends came home from their cruise last night, so Bud went back home! I think Buster is happy. He slept ALL night last night & then all night overnight too! Usually I have to let him out once in the middle of the night. Not last night!! They wore him out!

Good afternoon MMC Family.
I am NOT a happy Christmas elf today. Yesterday was the day we FINALLY got to do our tree. After the online party I started on the lights waiting for my son to get home so we could decorate. We have about 1400 lights on our tree. 400 multi-function white lights and then 1,000 multi-colored.
Last year I bought all new multi-colored lights. I noticed my old ones were dimming so before putting them on the tree last year, I went out and bought 1,000 new ones. Good quality ones too. They were all lit and beautiful last year when we took the tree down, and this year - 3 of the 5 sets are not functioning at all. I went through all 600 of the little bulbs and all 6 fuses. Nothing, nada, zilch, no twinkle. :-o
So I put on the white lights since they go on first and added on the two sets of colored lights that were working. Today I have to go... out there.... and buy more lights so we can finish decorating. Grrrr!!!
What happened to the days when a set of lights worked for years? My dad had the same set of lights on the tree for almost 10 years. I was with him when he bought them when I was 8. He replaced them the year after I graduated high school. LOL He bought new ones and two years later - needed to replace some of those. Ridiculous.
Oh well. Noah said, "I think it still looks beautiful Mom. We could just leave it as it is!" Love that kid.
How frustrating!!!!!! Especially after taking all that time to go through them & then still not able to get them working!! Grrrrr

I know how you feel. All Mr. wants is my chocolate chip cookies with coconut. Nothing else! But I may have to make some sugar cookies for myself.

Flurries are drifting around outside the office window. We're supposed to get a couple inches today. That's nice, except that I have to drive home during/after the snow ... I hope they keep the roads clear.
I found some little crocheted wreath ornaments I made last year, so I brought those in and hung them on the office tree. They're green with little bits of red ribbon, so they don't really stand out well, but I wanted to do my bit. If I have time, I could crochet a few snowflakes to bring in.
Back to work proofreading obituaries for a website ... what a cheery way to start the day.

So many of our patients cancelled for today, that the Boss told us to move the rest to tomorrow. WOOHOO! FREE DAY!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's just plain cold here!!!! It looks like it won't be quite as cold as they thought it would be though since we are already up to 15 degree's. Not much on my agenda for today. Just a few things to do around the apartment and then I'll settle in and watch some Christmas movies. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!
