Good morning everyone!

I have finally returned. Busy day yesterday, too! On Friday, I witnessed The Barenaked Ladies live in concert with the National Arts Centre Orchestra. It was fantastic. Even without Steven Page, who left the band in 2009, BNL was fantastic! Obviously, they couldn't quite play all their songs due to Page's unmistakeable voice, but they played many of my favourites...and of course Christmas songs! My only real complain about the performance was that there was often too much time between songs. They were funny, but they could have gotten about three or four more songs in if they had some quick transitions.

Oh well. It was still worth my $60. Great show. We had fantastic seats in the balcony, too. I'd love to share photos, but the NAC has a strict no photography policy. I decided to obey it. I will cherish the memories forever. Really hoping that I'll be able to see them again soon!

As for yesterday, I went to see the Los Angeles Kings at the Ottawa Senators here at the Canadian Tire Centre. I waited to the last minute to get tickets, which seems to be the very best idea. I managed to get two tickets in a suite for $50. Of course, the game was very entertaining, too. The Kings scored twice in the first four minutes and won 5-2! It was great to see my favourite team play - and win - live! There were lots of other Kings fans there, too. It's always great to see everyone break out their Kings jerseys!

Well, it's a big day for football today. The Packers need another win. We'll see how they fare against the Cowboys in Dallas. Until then, I have a few things to do...

Today is my mom's birthday. Hard to believe she's already closing in on her late 50s. She's also flying home from Fort Myers, Florida today... so, I hope it's a great day for her.. I'm sure she'll enjoy arriving home safe and sound. I will be seeing her in a mere four days, too, as I return home for Christmas on Thursday night. Anyway, I look forward to her calling me as soon as she gets home! I haven't really spoken with her since she left 10 days ago. I'm sure she'll have some good stories.

Time for breakfast. Have a great Sunday, everyone! Only 10 days remain until our favourite day of the year. Merry Christmas!

Happy Birthday to your mom and hope she enjoyed her trip!

Hey guys! I am taking an very early lunch cause I skipped breakfast! I am eating leftover pizza and a salad. It's warmed up to a warm 24F but snow is in the forecast for tonight with this frizzing drizzle and fog! I hope everyone is having a great day! Just one more week till the big day !

Lunch hour is almost over...so I guess I will get back to work. I just wanted to mention that as Christmas Eve approaches I know we all are thinking about Louann in our own special way. I think about her every morning on the way to work as I listen to the local radio station that is playing the old Christmas tunes by Perry Como and Judy Garland Nat king cole..I don't know why but that is when she comes to mind. Brandi kind of bonded with Louann too and they chatted once in a while. Everyone has their own special way of remembering her and me and Brandi will surely remember her when we light the candles at Christmas eve mass.. I know her and her sister always enjoyed going to those. I know we will all have her in our hearts this year!!

Good idea, Track! It'll be tomorrow, though. We're at mom's right now, then we go to the church Christmas party.

You are busy, Brad! I think that's what make's this time of the year go by so fast. Good to hear from you and know that we miss you here, too!

I am so excited! My parents and brother are all off from work next week. I am really looking forward to having everyone home - Christmas will be extra special!

Hope y'all have fun!

My last day off from work before Christmas---aw, the day is already too short for all the Christmas I want to cram into it!

Enjoy. I just realized I'm off all week next week! Can't wait!

We found another lost dog this afternoon. Or I should say he found us. This little guy had his nose pressed up against my storm door, he was looking right at me and my husband. How crazy is that? My heart sank when I saw him, I picked him up and brought him inside. No collar, no tags. I decided to walk him up and down the blocks in my neighborhood. Thankfully it didn't take too long for the owner to find us. The woman said he gets out from under the fence. Well then maybe it would be a good idea to do something about that! Grrrr. Anyway, I'm happy they were reunited and he was safe and sound. He was a sweet adorable dog.

You have such a kind heart, HmG. Glad you were able to find the owners.

Good evening,

Starting to wind down for the night getting ready to watch the Bengals game.
I shovelled out the driveway, we only got about 5-6 inches of snow.
I made my wife a red velvet cake for her birthday, and a calzone for dinner. We spent the afternoon watching Arthur Christmas.
back to work early tomorrow, only 8 more working days until I am on vacation.

Have a good night, all.

Sounds like your wife had a very enjoyable birthday! I'm on the countdown to your vacation with you!

I think she is feeling better with the medicine and ear drops. She hasn't been fussing with her ear at all. Thank you Graywolf!

That is wonderful news, HmG!! ❤️

Please give Molly an extra hug for Har & I.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

I had to relocate my computer to the conference room in the main office building, but I'm back online, baby! Hopefully, the replacement switch for our annex building will be here today and I can move back into my office.

Our church party was a lot of fun last night...Santa came by!

I had 369 pictures on the StealthCam, and 300 of them were raccoons. One even sat down in front of the camera and raised up on his behind like a bear, looking at me LOL! There was one quick picture of a deer passing through. I need to "sweeten the pot" with some corn.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

LOL Aaaaaah the lamentations of the stealth cam. I know them well. 300 pics of racoons. ROFL

Good morning!
I'm heading out to Target soon for more wrapping paper. I wrapped a little bit last night but I didn't even make a dent in it. And Bentley was being a little devil cat, like usual. He was jumping in the boxes, tearing up the tissue paper and stealing bows. I'm going to have to lock myself in my room today so I can make some progress.
I can't believe how close we are getting to Christmas :-D
I hope everyone is well and has a happy Monday!

Bentley is a cute little stinker ;) LOL!!

Har loves unwrapping gifts too! Sometimes even more than the gift itself, lol!!
