Thank you! There's a local dealership that we trust that we've been doing business with for nearly 14 years, so I'm pretty sure we can get a fair deal there. We do our homework on Edmonds.com beforehand so we know what the dealer cost, MSRP, and local median price are. I haven't had a new car in nearly 10 years---I'll have to get used to a digital dashboard!

no fun at all having car problems, hope it works out cheaper than you thought to repair it.

Dawg- Enjoy the snow and having your family around!!! Lovemas was on the 23rd before. With Christmas falling in the middle of the week the last year and this year, letterman has taken the whole week off. So it's been on the last new show before hand.

Coach- Hope your grocery store isn't as busy as mine just was!!!!

DH has to work Christmas Day too, but we are very fortunate that the other firefighter who works with my husband, is our neighbor, so they are going to bring the firetruck down to our house and the kids are going to open their gifts, but if they get a fire call, they will have to leave. As soon as the kids are done, they will have to leave. He will then get home around 4 or so.

Jennifer, I'm still praying for your mom! The afghan I am currently working on is predominantly Red Heart's Windsor blue with several other colors as the centers of the blocks. I will have enough of the other colors to make another afghan in the same style, just have to get more of the blue.

MerryBells, enjoy that beautiful weather! Rain and ice here and it is supposed to last for the next few days.

The neurologist is sending mom for more tests. He wants her to do a sleep study and to wear a heart monitor for 24 hours. I'm pretty sure the sleep study will show she has sleep apnea but I don't think the heart monitor is going to show anything. She has had so many EKG's in the last year that I would think any major would have showed up. He didn't like her heartbeat today though.

Now I'm off to run a few more errands!! I'll check back in later!!!

We are expecting a big storm the next few days, lots of ice rain. It was crazy in the store today they tell me. Everyone is getting ready, just in case. We at least have a camp stove so can at least have hot food if the power goes out.

Cheese cake is done baking, now to take LittleCS home again.

I hope you don't get that storm! We are expecting the same kind of weather here - so far freezing fog this morning, ice this afternoon and currently rain. The nasty stuff is supposed to hit tomorrow afternoon so I hope to get out and get some supplies just in case we get a lot of ice. Stay safe!!!!
