Christmas Countdown - 2013

I just finished watching "let it snow" on hallmark and I did not really like the beginning but by the end it was a good movie and I will keep it on the dvr. My fav movies this season have been"fir craxy" " a very merry mix up" and "let it snow" and "annie claus is coming to town" I will keep all those and maybe watch the rest of the winter. I am counting down the minutes until I can go get my sister from the airport. The driving will be crazy with all the traffic and snow. Her plane comes in at 1145pm though so maybe the traffic will not be that bad...but who am I kidding it will be horrendous just 3 days before Christmas!!! I just got through eating and I guess I will watch hallmark the rest of the night!! Have a good evening everyone! we are so close to the big day!

The Santa Claus is on here right now. Watched the Micheal Buble Christmas special was on earlier.

Good evening!
I tried to log on here a couple of times today but I've been having problems with the website, not sure why.
Anyway, we had a nice time at the company Christmas party last night. We didn't get home until after 1:00 a.m. I had to wake up early to drive my daughter to work. She had a flat tire yesterday and she damaged something thats going to take a day or two to repair. My husband told me what it was but I kind of zoned out when he was describing it me, I don't remember what he said, lol.
I was going to run a couple of errands this evening but I am having a problem with my debit card. I tried to use it earlier at Rite Aid and then to pay for a pizza but the payments wouldn't go through. I'm on hold right now with my bank to see what's going on, there is an unusually long wait to speak with a customer service representative. I have been nervous since I heard about the security breach at Target, I am in there all the time!
I will try and catch up here sooner or later. I wish it wasn't so hectic but there is a lot to do, can't believe Christmas is only a few days away. I have been thinking about you all. I hope everyone is well. Enjoy your evening!

Glad you had fun at the party!!

Hopefully it's nothing major with your card!! Maybe the weather caused their system to crash. My credit union isn't taking any chances with the target breach though. I got an email last night that they had canceled my debit card and would be sending me a new one since I had shopped at target on black friday. There was a long line of people in side of their branch this morning getting cash out since they no longer had debit cards to use.

Happy Winter Solstice, everyone!

The shortest day of the year. First, I must say that Lovemas was great. I was not able to catch it live - I was busy seeing old friends - but I was thankfully able to watch on youtube. Darlene Love was beautiful and her voice, well it remains just as magical as ever.

As for today, I am heading to Green Bay to see the Packers vs. Steelers play at Lambeau Field tomorrow afternoon. The Packers are in desperate need of a victory to remain in control of their playoff lives. I'll be cheering loudly from the North endzone!

My brother is working today and my dad is picking me up in a mere 20 minutes. Then, we're off to grab Brad at work and cross the border into the US en route to Green Bay, Wisconsin. Judging by the forecast, we should miss the storm that is due to arrive in Green Bay overnight. Hope it continues to hold off until then.

Good morning MMC!!

Been a busy couple of days. Did that shopping trip with my mom and didn't get home till 11pm. Although her 'shopping trip' was a covert operation. What she actually intended was for me to pick out a new grill for our porch and a new media/mantel electric fireplace. I didn't know it till after several stores that's whay we had predominately looked at and at Lowes when I said, Oh Bud and Noah would LOVE that grill and that fireplace is amazing, she told the clerk she wanted both, delivered and set up on Friday afternoon.

They wanted it all set up and looking nice for when Bud got home from his tour around 11 last night. :-D

You could have knocked me over with a feather!! Both Bud and Noah were stunned. LOL

So spent all day yesterday moving furniture and rearranging the patio and getting ready for Bud to come home.

I'll get caught up on the board here, but in the mean time I hope everyone is having a wonderful and blessed Christmas season!!!

Thanks, I think all of the buildings are okay. It's just right at the entrance off of the main street. There is a really big ditch there and it has overflowed and formed a lake on the street leading into the complex. It doesn't help that there is a dip in the pavement there too.

Good morning!
I've been so busy, I even forget to call in this years Christmas greetings
I've been out shopping all day the last week.
Usually Im done with all my Christmas shopping BEFORE the December 1st, so I never seen this "madness" before!

I cant wait till Christmas 2014!
And I will NEVER move this time of year ever again!

I also would like to say thank you for all the beautiful Christmas cards I have recived! I Love them! So many beautiful cards. Some have to be framed and put on my wall!!

Me and Thomas have a date tonight.
We are going to a Christmas concert, and out to dinner. And we are spending the night at a great hotel in the city.

still nothing this morning, it is hovering just above the freezing point. Warnings still out for later today. So far all we have is disappearing snow. :-?
I sure hope it snows some more before Christmas.

We had rain earlier and now it is sleeting. There was quite a bit of snow out there and it has packed down to an icy mess. Be safe!!!!

Very sad its almost over but will make sure I'm not down in the dumps this January as usual. I've monitor this countdown before here and must say you guys kill and sadness away for when the season is over.
