Christmas Countdown - 2013

Good morning,

I am starting to feel the PCBs starting to sneak into my consciousness, I am trying to avoid it by continuing to wear my Christmas t-shirts, watching Christmassy things from the DVR, and of course all my trees and lights still going.
Not much planned here today, my Bengals are on TV today hoping they win and the Patriots lose so the Bengals get the #2 seed and the bye for the playoffs.
My BIL will coming over to hang out tonight, he will probably pick on me for my post Christmas sadness, some people just don't understand how deeply the Christmas feeling runs in some of us. That is why I love coming here, you all understand it.

The memory that sticks out in my mind of this thread was in the toughest time of the year for all of us.



When CM3 passed away in April the love and support that came through here was amazing. So many of us were hit so hard by her sudden passing but we all supported each other and got us through that time.



The love and kinship of this one of a kind site will always be my lasting memory.

I have to agree. I think we all came together and shared a lot of ourselves around that time, and continue to do so now. We are all so blessed to call her our friend & Christmas angel. I still feel her presence here everyday

After seeing all the posts about The Bishops Wife, I got curious since I've never seen it. Checked around and found Amazon Prime had it for free viewing. So I watched for the first time ever this afternoon. It was absolutely wonderful!!! Thanks for the recommendation.

Good evening everyone!

Thanks to all for all the wishes. My throat doesn't soar anymore but my nose is just killing me. I hate being sick! :/ The weather has been crazy here lately as well. It isn't possible to get a good night's sleep because the wind is so strong that is seems it will eventually break all the windows of the house. Last night was horrible and it doesn't seem like tonight is gonna be any better. It doesn't look like winter at all!

Anyway, I hope everyone is doing fine, enjoying your Christmas presents and getting ready for New Years! I have already made my New Year's resolutions list. Is there anyone else here making one too? :]

When they say you should prick holes in your potato before baking to prevent it from exploding.... DO IT! I am not sure how I missed that step. What a fun find when opening the oven. Surprise! :

I am watching, Christmas with the Kranks. I know it got terrible reviews but I really enjoy it! It's silly and corny but I think it is fun to watch!

I love this movie and didn't get to see it at all this season. They only showed it on movie channels that I don't get. I also LOVE the book that the movie is based off of.
