Christmas Countdown - 2013

I hope Mgramsey is doing ok. We haven't heard from him in a while.

I have been thinking about him too.

Hello friends. I'm just getting a chance to get back here today for the first time since when, last Thursday or Friday....Seems like it's been longer then that. Well, were all finished up, and we are all moved in now. Wow, what an adventure, (2) 26 foot moving vans, (1) 16 foot moving van and all the other vehicles in tow... We had a beautiful day for our move Saturday and we got 99.5% of everything done/ moved in then. On Sunday, I had a wood pile to move and then it seemed as though the gates of heaven opened up and we got over an inch of rain while we were making the attempt to move the wood. We had mud from head to toe....

But, in all, we are done moving and now in the process of un-packing and trying to find everything. Hey guess what, I do have our Christmas tree up and lit in the new home already and yesterday, we got our Comcast Internet, telephone and TV service hooked up and I was playing Christmas music all day yesterday~

Well, Since I am in the office here today, I guess I should at least get a little work done, see you soon.....cheesy

We are only going to get a couple of inches from that system but now they are saying we may see a lot Sunday night through Tuesday morning.

Oh boy, another snowstorm; Yes!!!! I love it!:-D:whisper:
Lets see, firewood - check, food - check, generator and gas - check/check, Christmas movies - check and let's see what else....Oh yea TP, bread and milk!!!!

Isn't it amazing, when someone says snow, it makes people want to use the toilet, drink milk and eat bread 10x's as much as they normally would, so they have to run out to the grocery store to stock up~

We ended up watching "Holiday Inn" tonight instead of Charlie Brown. We did record good ol' Chuck though. One more day of the year left to go, I am really starting to fight the onset of PCBs, knowing decorations, commercials, music will be disappearing soon. New Year's Day is always one of the most depressing days of the year to me. I wish I didn't feel that way every year, and every year I mope around.

I will leave you tonight with something cheerful, a picture I took of the tree in the red room on Christmas Eve. I just love the way the sun lit up the room.

My large Santa was wrapped in that plastic bag looking thing on the left side of the picture.

I've started planning my whole year around Christmas. Designing the tree's theme and looking for all the great places I'm going to visit. .. Adelaide's parade is 10 hours drive but that's nothing to us I might even look at flights but then we will have to hire a car... hmmm... the Myer window displays in Melbourne only 5- 6 hrs away look like fun too. Here's a picture I took at our local Myer they weren't moving so late in the season... looks exactly like don't you think?

as the season seems to be drawing down and the new year is coming i jsut think bout all the fun i had being like a little kid again as i live it threw my nieces and nephew and see their joy. I hate it when the season is over. Glad you guys are around to cheer it up all year. looking forward to reading the post and the countdown. Guess Valentines is up next. see you guys in 2014!!!!
