my goodness, deprive people of shopping for a day or so and they all come at the same time! Very busy today, but I like it because the day goes by so fast!
Tomorrow starts the dollar sale so it is expected to be busy again, yeah!
Hope I get called in for a shift on Saturday.

Snakes that chase you? I'm going to be having nightmare's now!!!!

So will DH if I tell him!

Well in the crazy news of the day category, the school district my sister works for and the district my niece's go to, are going to go back to school tomorrow even though every major district in Indianapolis has canceled. That is just crazy. The streets in Indy are bad. Out here, they are horrendous!! There is 24 plows in our county to cover twice the area of Indianapolis which has 110 plows out on the road.

Then the district my niece's go to posts this big long message on facebook about how the buses will be running way behind and that they may not even be able to get through at all in some areas. They never said that they would call and tell those people though. So you are going to have kids standing out there forever waiting on the bus and for some of them, the bus may not ever show up? Not to mention the paragraph about not letting the kids walk or stand in the streets. Umm, there is 4 feet of snow on the sidewalks from the plows that went through. Where do they think the kids are going to stand.

Needless to say, Parents are giving them a piece of their minds on their facebook page. LOL!!!!

It's snowing again

Each store is different, as far as size and selection. But ours is a bigger one in the area, and it carries a lot of natural & organic foods. They have a wonderful produce & meat selection. Ours has wine and beer, too-only some do. But, the majority of their food is Aldi Select brands, so you won't see national name brands. They are all very good, though!

Oh, one thing is that they don't accept credit cards or checks. Cash & debit cards (via pin #'s) are the main accepted payments.

I use it as my stock up store. I buy their can goods, instant mashed potatoes, instant rice, pancake mix, syrup, baking goods, and stuff like that. Their meat is about the same price as everyone else around here so I usually go to Kroger for it.

They said they are doing all they can. The have stopped laying down salt though and everyone says they don't even have their plows down. They are just out there riding around.

Umm...do you see something wrong here? Lol

What is wrong with them? :/

Safety isn't a priority, obviously.

Glad the parents are letting them have it!

Praying for the families & kids involved.

She---and we---still wonder. You'd think if you were an agent, and one of your clients had an opening to work with the hottest singer in show biz at HIS request, you'd jump at the chance to put that feather in your cap. But the guy just never did anything. Still, what an amazing memory!

Such a shame. But like you said, definitely an amazing memory!

Don't worry ladies, your in good hands...

Sounds like the plows in my town!

I hope you get the hours on Saturday!
Enjoy your evening Christmasstar!

I would keep them home too, I have done it before.

It's all about money. They are trying to lessen the "financial burden" on the parents.

I'm hoping they cancel by morning.

Well it didn't even take until morning. My niece's school district just closed.

The district my sister works for has gone to a 2 hour delay but i have a feeling they will cancel by morning.
