My daughters first day went well, thank you! She was tired when she got home. They had her doing a little bit of everything. They will train her on the register tomorrow. I hope it works out for her. They pay well so she's happy about that!
I love Barnes and Noble too. I could walk around and browse in there all day!

Another busy day here. I have a few things to do before I can relax for the rest of the night. I'm not going anywhere so I can take my time doing my chores. The ice on the roof has melted considerably and it looks as if the piles of snow have gone down somewhat - that is nice to see.

Thanks! Everything is just fine at home! Electric came back on just as I was walking out the door for work. The transformer fire was a couple miles down the road & they had it under control quick! THANK YOU volunteer fire fighters!!!

oh....I went to the gym for the first time this year....not the first time I worked out tho....worked out with the dumbells at home twice or three times since last week........operation burn dat fast has officially started

Evening guys, just popping in quickly while the bath is filling up. Hope you are having a good day. It is night here so my day is winding down. Playing with the kids tonight and then after they are in bed we will watch a DVD of something. Looking forward to no school run in the morning although I will still be up early with my little peach.

Nascar already?! I cannot believe how addicted I use to be to it and counted down the days, now I am clueless and had no idea it was already here. Enjoy!

I was telling him yesterday, I used to be the same way. Before I had kids, I watched all the practices, races, went to some of the races, had so many of the die casts. If it was Dale Jr., I had it. I don't follow anymore, but still so go Dale Jr.!

I went to Bath and Body Works today and they are clearing out all the holiday candles with great clearance prices! I picked up 3 candles! I love those candles there. I know most people are Yankee candle fans but I tend to like the ones and Bath and Body Works better. Yankee are still good though!



MerryCarey, take care of yourself! Be sure to take some vitamin D and C! You know we don't get enough natural sunlight during the winter so we all lack vitamin D and it is very helpful for your immune system!

For you or anyone that is interested right now, although they are selling out of most of the scents, Yankee is running a special right now you can get 6 of their large candles for $60.00. That's right - they're $10.00 a piece, which is a steal! I know Dawg will be interested in this. I really didn't need them, bit couldn't pass up the deal. Ill use them at some point!

Well it the warmer temps has turned everything to slush. So I just got done doing another round of shoveling. If I don't have to lift it again the rest of the season, it would be alright with me at this point. LOL!!!!

G'morn all, just having my second coffee on Saturday 9.40am thinking about some chores but not wanting to move. I think my jigsaw is calling. It's going to be 37°C today slowly building into 40s. We are going to the public indoor pool today for the 6th birthday of my son's partner's boy.... looking forward to the cupcakes!!

home again, supper done, being lazy.

Warming up quite a bit, it is now +1c (33f), snow melting and going to rain tomorrow. Tuesday it was -41c....40 degree difference in temperatures in only 3 days, crazy weather.
