Your day sounds so good. We are going to go to Wal-Mart to get supplies to make goodies for the next two days. Snack time, for sure! I am thinking some dips and cheese balls, maybe some soup!

Mmmm! Send the lear! I'll bring the wine!

Hey I want to come for the party!!!! I'll bring Chocolate!!!

I figured it was something along those lines, I just like teasing you

Hoping you get some light snow to enjoy again soon!

Thanks, buddy!!!! They are saying 2 storms this coming week but haven't started talking totals yet.

Okay, now. I am confused on Mexico and Colorado, LOL!

We're driving from central Florida to Blanca, Colorado. It's a 25 hour drive so breaking it up over a few days to have fun.

Hope your husband can avoid any more pain. Is it in the back area? When Hubby has kidney stones, it seems to be in the lower back. On the other hand, my gallstones hurt in the front. Take care!

It's all around his side. I asked the same thing. He said it started right after he popped his back at a convenience store. LOL He was a massage therapist and worked with chiropractors so he knows the correct way to do some self work when needed after training. He had been doing heavy weight training earlier in the day, popped his back to loosen up and then the pain started.

I suggested could also be costachondral bruising from the lift that he really felt after the stretch. He seems to be much better today but still tender in the rib region.

So we're rolling on to Abilene. :-)

Glad he's doing much better today!

Drive safe~

Hope everyone is doing great today. We'll be on the road again in a bit. 1,480 miles to go. Drove 600 miles yesterday as we didn't leave till 6:30pm. I gotta say, going 480 miles on one tank of gas was suuuper nice. LOL Then only paying $35 to fill it up, even better. Though I still love my truck! :-)

Some prayers would be appreciated. Bud had some sharp pains in his side last night about 2 hours after we left. From some other symptoms earlier and this last incident, we're thinking he may have either a kidney or gall stone. Not excruciating, but enough to make him wince and want to sit still. He has a high pain threshold so for him to say something it's bad. He was asleep and I was still driving at 2:30am. I deliberately chose a hotel that shared an exit with the hospital just in case. I think he'll be fine, but I'd rather be safe. ;-)

Hope you all have a blessed and beautiful Saturday!!! I'll probably continue being the driver so no catch-up for me yet. I'm going to try and go 10 hours today if Bud doesn't object, because I really want to see New Mexico and Colorado in the light of day tomorrow. :-)

LOL Last night Bud bought a Christmas travel mug for me that was on clearance at a Kangaroo gas station. Specifically because, 1) It was Christmas and 2) It read, "The Roo Mug." ROFL. Our black Lab, Rossi is nicknamed, "RooRoo," or "Roo," for short. So Merry Christmas to you all as we continue to find Christmas clearance items!

I hope Bud feels better soon. I have never heard of a Kangaroo gas station, how strange. Safe travels I am just going to convert your 'miles' to 'kms' so I get a better idea. Cheers

Well it's about time!!!!! You should see that pile that is waiting on you!!!!!!

Oh CAH...I'm scared for you! You'll be there until next Christmas!!!

Praying for Bud that he feels better soon. Continued safe travels.

It's in the 50s here and we're having a thunderstorm. What a weird-weather January this is!

It looks like a movie evening for us. Back on Christmas Eve the takeup quit on one of our projectors and dumped about 100 feet of "We're No Angels" on the floor, so Mr. sent the projector to a guy who specializes in repairing them. The guy did a thorough checkup and not only fixed the broken parts, but rehabbed the projector. It was expensive, but now the projector is better than new and purrs like a kitten. So I think we'll be using it this evening.

Mr. bought something unusual with one of his gift cards---the entire series (30 episodes) of "My Mother the Car" on DVD. The series has a bad rep as the worst sitcom ever produced, but don't you believe it. It's a fun show, no worse than, say, Gilligan's Island or The Beverly Hillbillies. We're really enjoying it! The star is Jerry Van Dyke (Dick's brother), and he's darn near as funny as his brother at times. Never let anyone tell you something isn't worth watching---try it.

Concrete has been poured and has cured. Hubby has put down the floor on the part that we had to take up to pour more concrete. He has been working so hard. I don't know how he does it! Just looking at the foundation makes me realize how big it is going to be. I am getting more and more excited! Cooking, on the other hand is the pits! So we go out a lot. Hopefully all our $$ won't have to be spent on restaurants, LOL! That would be defeating the whole purpose.

So very exciting!!!

That is some crazy weather!

Glad the projector was able to be fixed, and is running better than ever. Enjoy your movie night!!
