Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good morning!
Just had the dogs outside, it is chilly out there. We are currently at 9 degrees but will have a high of 28.
My youngest stayed home from school today, said she isn't feeling well. I hope she isn't coming down with what her sister has. We'll see what happens. Not a lot planned for today. I may take a ride to the mall with my middle daughter. She has a party tomorrow night and needs a dress, nothing like waiting until the last minute. I hope she finds something quick, I don't feel like shopping today. I was up quite a bit with Maggie last night.
I also need to start working on a menu plan for next week. I swear I don't know what to cook anymore.
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

I have no idea why people do that, we had some one loot our home after a major fire when my kids were still little (no one home at the time, just lots of damage, it was 6 months before it was rebuild and we could move back again)
They took jewelry, antiques and a few other items.

This is only my opinion, my thoughts and my way of living, but I'm telling you, that kind of stuff, really gets my boxers all twisted up in a knot!!!. There is only just a few names that will prevent others from infringing on your rights, privacy, safety, help protect your family and your valuables and your overall well-being and those are names like Smith and Wesson, Ruger, Colt, Remmington, and Glock!

It is so frustrating. My daughter has a class this morning then she has to work an eight hour shift. It's hard to get better when there is no time to rest!

A Brrrrrrrrry morning everyone! Left the house this morning to got to work at 5:30am and it was a cold 5 degrees F outside. My oh my, I hit that cold leather seat and I felt like I was sitting on a block of ice....Yup, I was awake then....

Yes, it is Thursday, one more day!!! I'm hoping for a nice quiet day here at the office so I can get some things done. I'm right in the middle of laying out (designing) a complete plumbing system for this elementary school and then I have to start working 12-16 hour days starting next week so that I can work on another school during the day 6am-3pm and then go out in the field and start surveying a renovation project for McCormick Spice and Food company at their Innovation plant, in the evenings, 3-10pm; "busy, busy, busy..."!

It is snowing here right now, we were supposed to get 1-2 inches starting last night, but before I went to bed they changed it to 7-8 inches. We currently have less than an inch on the ground, we will see what happens I guess!! LOL. Hmmm...

I kind of wish we would get a fresh coat of snow so everything would look pretty again. Everything is a dirty, slushy mess! I was looking at the cars this morning and they are filthy, it's making me crazy. I'm dying to wash them but its too cold. Maybe tomorrow, we are supposed to have temperatures in the 30's. Stay safe in the snow!
We will be home Sunday, I'm going to work on a grocery list today. I plan on having lots of yummy snacks.
