Good morning!
Just had the dogs outside, it is chilly out there. We are currently at 9 degrees but will have a high of 28.
My youngest stayed home from school today, said she isn't feeling well. I hope she isn't coming down with what her sister has. We'll see what happens. Not a lot planned for today. I may take a ride to the mall with my middle daughter. She has a party tomorrow night and needs a dress, nothing like waiting until the last minute. I hope she finds something quick, I don't feel like shopping today. I was up quite a bit with Maggie last night.
I also need to start working on a menu plan for next week. I swear I don't know what to cook anymore.

Good luck finding a dress with your daughter. I hope your other girls feel better soon including Maggie I know what you mean about not knowing what to cook. I don't like having the same meals over and over again.

It is snowing here right now, we were supposed to get 1-2 inches starting last night, but before I went to bed they changed it to 7-8 inches. We currently have less than an inch on the ground, we will see what happens I guess!! LOL. Hmmm...

What are your super bowl plans?

We still haven't got any snow but it sure has gotten cold. They are expecting storms and rain in some parts.

Mr Festive and I always look forward to Superbowl. It will be on at around 11:30 at night here . We usually stay up into the early hours of the morning watching it with snacks and couple drinks. It gets more and more difficult each year to stay awake though especially as he will have work in the morning and I have to be up with the children.

Merry Afternoon all, how is your day so far? I just go back from picking my eldest up from school and now it's time to prepare dinner. I am undecided what to make today though!

It is freezing today, the temps have really dropped. I honestly don't know how you all are able to cope in the freezing temps most of you are having!!!
I am still a bit unwell but thankfully it is not getting any worse so I'm content with that.

Tomorrow is Friday as well as the last day of January! Goodness how time flies!!

By the end of this weekend, where I live at, I think it supposed get up to around 50 degrees in the daytime, but it will still be around freezing at night. I'm giving the fireplace a workout so far since I've been living there....

A Brrrrrrrrry morning everyone! Left the house this morning to got to work at 5:30am and it was a cold 5 degrees F outside. My oh my, I hit that cold leather seat and I felt like I was sitting on a block of ice....Yup, I was awake then....

Yes, it is Thursday, one more day!!! I'm hoping for a nice quiet day here at the office so I can get some things done. I'm right in the middle of laying out (designing) a complete plumbing system for this elementary school and then I have to start working 12-16 hour days starting next week so that I can work on another school during the day 6am-3pm and then go out in the field and start surveying a renovation project for McCormick Spice and Food company at their Innovation plant, in the evenings, 3-10pm; "busy, busy, busy..."!
