Scratch that....snow day.
My boss called me and asked what did I think....and I think this...
1. Student safety first....always.
2. Be able to defend your positions with logic and reason, not apologies.
Weather is supposed to move in at 9:00 am, which is way too close to kids being on buses.
I'd rather parents be mad that we kept their kids at home instead of them being mad that we put them at risk.
Anyways...I get to read Christmas related articles for a while! Yes!

GOOD MORNING!!!!
Good evening!
I'm going to turn in a little early tonight. I ended up shoveling again and I'm beat. I didn't want to do it because the snow was wet and heavy but I did it anyway. I just took two Motrin, I feel achey already. I'm either really out of shape or I'm just getting old. Maybe both. I'll see you in the morning.
Goodnight and sweet dreams!

Good morning!
I just got back from the supermarket a few minutes ago. I'm going to relax for a few minutes with a cup of hot coffee before I get started on some chores. We have more snow heading our way, it should start around midnight. I'm not sure if it will be enough for a snow day, they are saying it may turn over to a freezing rain by the morning rush. I'd rather have all snow, the freezing rain sounds treacherous. We'll see what happens, they will fine tune the forecast as the day goes on.
My youngest feels like she has a sore throat coming on so I'm going to bring her in to the doctor. I drove her to school today because the side roads are so icy. I'm going to pick her up a little later and bring her straight to her appointment.
I hope everyone is well and has a great day!!!
Thank goodness Facebook is mostly one-click! The middle finger on my right hand has a cyst that is filled with a viscous material. It has been lanced, but it keeps coming back. My fingernail also has a groove in it. I will go back to the doctor to see what she plans to do if this has continued. Not fun at all!
Good afternoon, MMC!
Well, snow day is over and it's time to head to bed. More ice coming this way, so it should be interesting. It is slated to get here around 10:00, so we will have to get kids home in weather if we dismiss. I hate that. Hopefully, everything goes ok.
Well, y'all have a good one. See you tomorrow or the next day!

Still thinking about that snow tomorrow. Looks like 6 to 10 inches in our area.
Also thinking about the afghan I'm working on. Don't you hate it when a pattern isn't perfectly clear? I did two long (140-stitch) rows last night in a complicated pattern stitch that creates a series of spaces. The next row, which is shells worked into the spaces, requires the number of spaces to be evenly divisible by 4, but the pattern stitch works out to 70 spaces! It needs to be either 68 or 72. I'll have to frog what I did last night and fudge it somehow when I redo it so I get the right multiple of spaces. Urgh! I had jotted a note on the pattern the last time I worked it that says "72 spaces/multiple of 4," but didn't make any notes on how I managed to do that! I think I need to make some more notes! One thing I like about crochet over knitting is that it's easier to fudge a couple stitches more or less when you need to. But it's such a pain when you need to!

Stay safe in that snow!!!! (Does anyone else feel like that's all we say anymore?)
Good Luck with the Afghan!! I'm sure it will look great when you are done with it.
Well someone from across the street took my mom's parking spot after I spent a lot of time making sure it was completely ice free and cleaned out for her. There are 6 spots open over there, so there is no reason they couldn't park over there. All I have to say is if it's still there when it's starts snowing, I'll have no idea how all of that snow ended up around it.
That is wrong!!
Sorry, buddy!!
Is it assigned? If so, I'd complain.

No they aren't assigned. Everyone know's which spot is whose though. They've seen me out there working on it, too.
