Went out to get the mail and discovered a 3 foot pile of snow at the end of the sidewalk. I'm so going to beat up the maintenance man that next time I see him.
LOL!! I don't think that beautiful face of your's could scare anyone!!
Great idea, Snowflake! Maybe we could have a cookie bake-off with the new ovens!
We can try some new recipes and do the cooking!
We are headed to Wal-Mart and will return later this afternoon! Does anyone need anything while we are there?
Great minds! I posted about a cookie-cooking event and then saw your post! Everyone could make his/her specialty dish!

My mom used to get Workbasket when I was little. Now I wish I'd kept them! But I have so many free patterns from the Internet that I'll never make most of them. Doesn't keep me from collecting more, though!
Yawn.....
What's everyone's temps like? It is going to get to 14 tonight with a windchill of -7. That's cold for us....real cold!
Good morning one and all!
Wow, what a day yesterday! We awoke to a half an inch of ice on top of a couple inches of snow. What a mess... trees and power lines down all over the place. We were one of the lucky ones who's power stayed on, there was over 40% of BGE's customers that were without power yesterday. BGE said that they will not be able to restore power to some people until this weekend.
We got up and car pooled today to work because Lisa is going to pick me back up at 12:30 and take me to the hospital. I'm scheduled to have outpatient surgery at 2:00 today and I wont be back here to work until next Tuesday. So an extended weekend for me to help recoup a bit, from what is awaiting me later this afternoon, lol...
Well, I guess it's time to actually start working, I check in again in a bit....
We had about 8 or 9 inches of snow yesterday. Our driveway was plowed out, but the town plow came by last night and left a ridge across the bottom of our driveway that we had to shovel out this morning. And once we got the snow off our cars, we had to shovel out around them. On the bright side, the snow is picturesque today because the sun is out and there's blue in the sky. They're calling for at least a little snow Sunday night, and maybe another storm next week. Enough already.
I finished that Aran Hearts afghan just before bed yesterday, so I haven't had a chance to take a picture yet. It came out well! At least the pattern pains don't show. Next I'm going to try a Yule Tree pillow pattern. If that goes well, I'll make the afghan as well.
How are the other afghans-in-progress coming, fellow crocheters?
I'm looking forward to trying out the pattern!
Hmm ... if it goes well, maybe I'll make another one to sell/auction for Santa's Sleigh ...
Good afternoon, MMC!
I'm still working on my spreadsheet ~ it is taking far longer than I thought to do, but that is okay as I do like to stay busy. The snow has been falling off and on so it has been making for a beautiful view out the window. Just made myself a cup of peppermint tea ~ oh, my is that ever yummy!
Be merry!
