Christmas Countdown - 2014

TGIF! I have had a headache almost everyday for a week. I've got some stress going on this week! I think I need to go to a chiropractor. After the fall I had on NYE, I don't hurt, but I feel "jammed up". Our AA massaged my neck & shoulders today & was shocked at how tense they were!

Last night they said we might get a little snow. DD, who is 8, said, "People, I'm ready for some summer!" We've made camping reservations for Easter weekend & our summer vacation. Gotta have something to look forward to when it's cold outside!

We will be watching the Olympics today. DD is excited!

I hope you feel better soon!

I want to go camping sometime. It's been over 20 years since we been! I am sure you will all have fun!

Hi all!

I have been a little busy with my little Chico. He has a heart condition and ran into some problems last week. He has been to the vet twice this week. He has made a little improvement but we just have to keep an eye on him. He goes back to the vet next week for a check up. Please keep
him in your thoughts and prayers! Thanks!

In other news, we got some snow yesterday and might get more next week. I am so happy!

I am excited about the Olympics!!! I hope Shaun White gets another gold!!!

I am going to try and read a few post before I go finish up some chores.

Chico remains in my thoughts & prayers, dear friend

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

Nancy had been having trouble with dizziness lately, and it was even worse yesterday. Luckily, she had an appt. scheduled for yesterday afternoon with a physical therapist to address the issue. We were both skeptical about a PT being able to help with this, but in about 30 minutes she had Nancy fixed-up! It all seems very fantastical, but it has to do with the misalignment of "crystals" in the inner ear. With a few deft motions, turning Nancy's head from left to right, everything went back to normal. Crazy, but I'll take it. As they say, when mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!

Lunch with my mom & brother today, then more work, work, work.

the epley maneuver, my mom gets that done too, she has had it done 4 times and now has no more problems with dizziness.

Oh gosh, I feel for Nancy. I had the exact same issue in 2010. I also had the PT do the "Epley Maneuver" which scared the bejesus out of me, but worked!
I hope Nancy is feeling 100%!

Yes, my daughter's friend made the luge team. He's just a teenager, one of the youngest men to ever qualify for a spot. We're super excited :-D
