Weird weather---it was calling for rain this afternoon, but it keeps switching back and forth between rain and snow. At least it's a few degrees above freezing. I hope it stays that way for the homeward commute.

hoping you are right! We are sitting right at freezing point now with warnings for rain and ice rain starting overnight.

Good evening! Hope everyone had a good day. I stayed at home because I don't have any lectures on Wednesday. I finished my essay and - hopefully - prepared for my class test tomorrow. I went to the job interview which was okey, I guess. I am not surprised they have many applicants because that tea lounge is seriously amazing. Who wouldn't like to work there? ^^ I was promised to be given with the answer by the end of the week. We will see how it goes. :]

Also, few postgrads in our campus are trying to start environmental society so I remembered the very last minute there was a meeting tonight so I went there after the interview. So, I probably won't stay up very late tonight.

Thanks! Happily, we just got plowed out! We were expecting 3 to 6 inches, and our plow guy says we got 6 or 7. The heavier bands of snow came right through our area. From all the storms we've had in the past two weeks, there must be nearly 2 feet of snow in the yard!

Now the temps are supposed to go up to about 40 tomorrow, and we'll be getting some rain. That's going to be some mess!

I hope it doesn't get as messy by you as it is by me ~ stay safe!

There were quite a few posts I was going to comment on, but for some reason I kept having trouble accessing the site today.

Holiday, Made, Snowflake, Christmasstar, be safe in the wacky weather headed our way!

HmG, I'm glad Maggie is doing well!

Festive, I hope you are able to sleep better tonight and that the rain lets up! Praying your little one is better soon!

I have chores to do and several leaks on the porch to keep tabs on ~ thank God I have a lot of buckets! It is getting messy out here and tomorrow looks to be extremely unpleasant weather-wise: ice, snow, sleet, rain, freezing fog, fog and thunderstorms were all mentioned. Should be very interesting!

Hi everyone! Thank you all for your kinds words of my little doggy Chico's passing. My family gathered with me that day to help me through the grief and took me out to dinner. I just love them all so much and thankful I have such a wonderful family who were there to comfort me!

I woke up in the middle of the night on the first night Chico passed away and felt sad, Wayne couldn't sleep either thinking about him. As always, I run for Christmas for therapy during sad times. We popped in the movie, Christmas Vacation, and watched that until we fell back to sleep.

I still feel very sad but just taking it one day at a time and moving forward. We have Christmas 2014 to look forward to!

I hope you all have had a Merry Day!

Good evening, MMC!!

Adi & I were sitting here watching a movie, when some of our good friends from LaCrosse came knocking on our door It was a nice surprise! Their son was in a nearby town in a wrestling match, and they decided to stop by & catch up. We had fun reminiscing, and making summer plans.

We are loving the warmer weather, but got some not so pleasant news of a nasty winter storm coming on Thursday, and we are expected to receive 6-12 inches. Ahh!

It was a snowy day here, we ended up with about 6 inches on the ground. We brought the boys to their dentist appointment and to "The Lego Movie" it was a very good movie. I also found a new "Old fashioned Griswald family Christmas" t-shirt on clearance at the mall, another shirt for my collection. cheesy

I should probably head to sleep.
