Thank you all, especially for your prayers and encouragement! I appreciate it! Aside from my grandma passing away recently, I am doing well Festive Spirit! How are you?

I actually had my grandma mentioned in my first post but I went and edited it out - I hate bringing in sad/bad news, especially since I haven't been posting much!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's 39 degree's right now!!!! Yay!!!! There is some pretty strong winds making it feel like only 24 with the wind chill. It should be another beautiful day though. I have a few things I want to do this morning and then this afternoon I'll probably spend some more time outside with my snow shovel trying to get rid of the ice that is melting. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

After two good snows last week, today the temperature is up and everything has turned to slush. I guess it won't be too long until the warmer temperatures grace us with their presence, and it will be spring. The birds are already singing their springtime songs, which I enjoy hearing in the morning. Mardi Gras is almost upon us, along with Lent, then Easter. Wow, the year is really off to a quick start!

Hope it goes well at the dentist. My husband has his routine appointment tomorrow. He almost made me cancel it saying he's swamped with work but I know he's just chicken LOL! Have fun at the mall if you go!

Our temps are going up to about 40F today, then we'll be getting some steady rain. Heaven knows where all the snow will go when the rain melts it! In many places the storm drains are covered with snow and ice, so the water just backs up in deep puddles on the streets. We got a little sun this morning, which was beautiful on yesterday's snow. Just the same, I'd like to make a deal with the weatherman: For the rest of the winter, send the snow only to those who want it! We've had more than our share and would like to spread the "joy."

They're saying there won't be any more snow here for at least 4 or 5 days, so we can catch our breath.

It's pouring here right now. It's going to get very messy with all of that melting snow!

Good morning, everyone. Just getting in here from work a little bit ago. We got a good some snow again this morning, with a mix of sleet and freezing rain, which left the roads very horrible and not much of the daylight stay showed up in time. Most of the night shift staff were there until 9. After we got done, we went for breakfast to wait until the temperature rose enough to drive home.

I am safely home now, in my warm bed, and am going to take a nap! I will check back later on. I hope you guys all have a great day. Talk to you then! God Bless and keep smiling!

Good after my Christmas loving friends. The weather here is nuts .... We got almost 3 inches of snow yesterday morning and then this morning it was raining with a few rumbles of thunder mixed in. Suppose to reach the upper 50s this week and then get cold again. I love snow and all but I would really like a few days of nice warm weather to open my windows and air out the house.

Ran out to another Hallmark store today and they were also at 75% all Christmas stuff. I picked up another ornament and a couple more Christmas gifts to tuck away.

Last night I took my son to his school for an event and passed a house with their Christmas Tree still up and lit in the window. At first I thought it was just decorated for Valentines as I saw what I thought were red hearts on it but nope they were red bows and it has other christmas decoration on it. It was nice surprise to see.

Well gotta run .. .have a great day!!!

that is our worry too, getting rain tomorrow on top of the warmer temperatures today. Crews are out all over the place clearing off drains on the roads.
As for more snow, I am hoping that we do not get anymore until next season, I am so ready for spring!

I agree with you! I would love to open windows, if just for a couple hours! We are supposed to hit near 60º tomorrow - but next week the lows are back down to single digits! Brrrrrr! Crazy winter!
