Christmas Countdown - 2014

[Holiday]

Good evening,

It was a snowy day here, we ended up with about 6 inches on the ground. We brought the boys to their dentist appointment and to "The Lego Movie" it was a very good movie. I also found a new "Old fashioned Griswald family Christmas" t-shirt on clearance at the mall, another shirt for my collection. cheesy
I should probably head to sleep.

What a great find! My boss/wife saw they Lego movie. They said it was very good. My boss said you have to watch it a couple times to catch everything! :smile:

Good morning, everyone. Just getting in here from work a little bit ago. We got a good some snow again this morning, with a mix of sleet and freezing rain, which left the roads very horrible and not much of the daylight stay showed up in time. Most of the night shift staff were there until 9. After we got done, we went for breakfast to wait until the temperature rose enough to drive home.

I am safely home now, in my warm bed, and am going to take a nap! I will check back later on. I hope you guys all have a great day. Talk to you then! God Bless and keep smiling!

Good morning! How everyone's day is going so far? I am now drinking a mug of tea and finishing my first essay of this semester. I am going to start studying for tomorrow's class test soon and get ready for the interview.

Merry Morning! Happy Pines Day!

I had such weird and scary dreams last night. I kept dreaming about hurricanes and storms. I felt like I was in a disaster movie. I woke up panicked a few times and unfortunately the dreams just seem to continue each time I fell back asleep.

My little one has also been up through the night with a terrible cough. It seems to be worse at night.

Thanks for the feedback about the snow globe. I am still thinking about it. So tempted

Well, it was noticeably warmer yesterday and dry.
(A great combination for February!)
Today should be nice too, although we started off with rain (and a little thunder) at about 5:00 AM this morning.
We are at a damp 51 degrees right now.

My daughter is having a great time, she doesn't want to come home. I don't blame her. She sent me some pictures yesterday, the home she's staying in is absolutely beautiful and the weather has been very nice. The week is going by so fast, she will be coming home already on Friday!
And Maggie is hanging in there. The poor thing still coughs off and on. She isn't worse though so that's good. My husband teases me and tells me she does it for attention. I'm going to punch him in the nose one of these days, lol.

Our temps are going up to about 40F today, then we'll be getting some steady rain. Heaven knows where all the snow will go when the rain melts it! In many places the storm drains are covered with snow and ice, so the water just backs up in deep puddles on the streets. We got a little sun this morning, which was beautiful on yesterday's snow. Just the same, I'd like to make a deal with the weatherman: For the rest of the winter, send the snow only to those who want it! We've had more than our share and would like to spread the "joy."

They're saying there won't be any more snow here for at least 4 or 5 days, so we can catch our breath.

Lol! Good luck dealing with the weatherman!!! It will be crazy when the rain comes & melts all this snow. Probably will have flood warnings coming soon...

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's 39 degree's right now!!!! Yay!!!! There is some pretty strong winds making it feel like only 24 with the wind chill. It should be another beautiful day though. I have a few things I want to do this morning and then this afternoon I'll probably spend some more time outside with my snow shovel trying to get rid of the ice that is melting. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!
