so glad to hear you had a wonderful time!
Good morning and happy Sunday! It should be slightly cloudy here today but still no rain. We have been truly blessed in terms of weather here. :]
Ceilidh finished at midnight last night so I took a quick shower when I got back and went straight to bed. It was SOOOOO much fun! Exhausting though but so fun. We were dancing for about four hours plush we had an hour long Scottish dinner. ^^ My friend who is one of people organizing the event said they aim to host about 2-3 ceilidh nights every year so I hope there will be another one later this year because I am definitely going. And don't people dare to say that men in kilts don't look cool.
Have a nice day everyone! *hugs*
I hope it's much better than the Bullwinkle and Rocky movie that was out in the '90s with live-action characters! Always loved Mr. Peabody's bad puns on the TV show.
perfect morning!Good morning my Coffee loving friends (and tea lovers too)!
Twas the morning before Monday and all through the house, not a creature is stirring, not even a mouse....
QUIET! Sipping on coffee, trying not to wake Doc and Bambina.
Hope this finds everyone doing great. I'm stopping by to read the boards, then time to start working. Going to do a little bit of Christmas organizing, cooking, and hanging out.
Rain has been pretty constant here since around 10:30 last night. We got a good, soggy, soaking rain. It's gonna be a mess out for a few days, but our temps are going to be up in the upper 60's after tomorrow. They are predicting a little snow tonight, but nothing that will stick.
Hope everyone is doing great! Haven't got to do a lot of reading in the last week or so...peace and prayers to all!
busy day for you!Good morning, MMC!
A bitterly cold, snowy day here in mid-Michigan. The fluctuations in temperature are good at this time as it allows the melt-off from the previous day to sink in to the ground and lessens the threat of flooding somewhat. When it warms up on Tuesday, it could get very messy out here. I'm prepared, so all is good!
I have a lot of chores to catch up on today and some work I need to get done for the store. Hoping to have a nap later on because Palmer kept racing around the house and was jumping on and off the bed most of the early morning hours. She is now resting ~ probably recharging for another madcap evening. Ah, well ~ at least she was having fun!
Have a blessed Sunday, my dear friends!!!
something green? I will be at work so that eliminates a lot and the only green earrings I have a Christmas trees. Do you suppose those would be ok to wear?Just rambling through the posts while listening to some ragtime music. Gotta start some laundry soon, then I may make some tea and watch an episode of Downton Abbey (third season, no spoilers please!). I enjoy sipping tea when I watch something British.
It's sunny and bright here but cold. At least the snow will be missing us, last I heard.
Remember to wear something green tomorrow, or the snakes will get you!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's going to be a cold day here with a high near 30 degree's and some snow showers. It looks like we only see an inch at most though. My plan for today is to just relax and watch the Nascar race. Hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

I thought the new Mr. Peabody movie was much better than the Rocky and Bullwinkle film.

the best is yet to come!
Any big party plans?
And did you, lol?!
That is a good movie, Neve Campbell is so young in it.

Happy Sunday, track! Happy day-before Birthday, too! Have a blessed day, my friend!
1st- Happy Birthday tomorrow!
2nd- It's amazing how fast time flies. Remember when you were younger and people told you that...I thought that was something old people say. They were right. Now, I say it. Does that make me older or more experience? Hmmmm...
Don't you worry, HMG! I plan on it! You do the same.
Uh oh...lol. I was at a New Year's Eve party once where they ran out of beer, so you had to drink wine. Never had it..tried it....thought it was good. REAL good. Several, several glasses good. Next morning, I realized that wine is from the devil. That stuff hurts!
Cold day in Jersey today! Went to breakfast with our usual Sunday pals, came back and chopped some wood, raked some leaves, blew out some beds, came in and lit a fire and thought of all of you!
I don't post nearly enough but my thoughts are always with you and on Christmas! Oh yeah, we stopped at an estate sale on the way home and I bought a Christmas CD and a timer for Christmas lights...so I guess I'm still in the spirit!
Time flies, I'll tell ya...and I so love to read the updates from our beloved Crown, my long time friend from Christmas.com.
Hope everyone has a great day, and Merry Christmas!!!
:hi:
Good morning!
Feeling a bit headachey today, I may have a had a little too much wine last night. It was worth it though.
The temperatures have dropped, it is going to be cooler than it has been the past couple of days. We will be in the lower 30's today. We're going to a St. Patrick's Day parade this afternoon. We will have to bundle up because we'll be outside for quite some time. I get a break from cooking dinner tonight, we will be going to my in-laws after the parade for corned beef and cabbage.
I hope everyone is well and has a great day!!!

We have a Scottish store here in town and the owner wears his kilt often. He looks very good in it.
my eldest daughter and me are just 5 days apart with our birthdays. Now that she is an adult we celebrate together.not really.....just having some waffles in the afternoon at my place with some friends and family.....my b-day is mostly pretty much non-existing.....not because I want to.....but because Kandice´s bday a week earlier takes up most of the extra money and nerves of the months.....lol.....just some nice time with fam and friends.....not so shabby I guess![]()

One summer's night neither of us could fall asleep. I'll tell you what finally worked: An unabridged audiobook of "A Christmas Carol." It was very soothing!

Enjoy your tea & Downton Abbey!!
