Good morning and happy Sunday! It should be slightly cloudy here today but still no rain. We have been truly blessed in terms of weather here. :]
Ceilidh finished at midnight last night so I took a quick shower when I got back and went straight to bed. It was SOOOOO much fun! Exhausting though but so fun. We were dancing for about four hours plush we had an hour long Scottish dinner. ^^ My friend who is one of people organizing the event said they aim to host about 2-3 ceilidh nights every year so I hope there will be another one later this year because I am definitely going. And don't people dare to say that men in kilts don't look cool.

Have a nice day everyone! *hugs*
so glad to hear you had a wonderful time!
We have a Scottish store here in town and the owner wears his kilt often. He looks very good in it.

I hope it's much better than the Bullwinkle and Rocky movie that was out in the '90s with live-action characters! Always loved Mr. Peabody's bad puns on the TV show.

I thought the new Mr. Peabody movie was much better than the Rocky and Bullwinkle film.

Good morning my Coffee loving friends (and tea lovers too)!

Twas the morning before Monday and all through the house, not a creature is stirring, not even a mouse....

QUIET! Sipping on coffee, trying not to wake Doc and Bambina.

Hope this finds everyone doing great. I'm stopping by to read the boards, then time to start working. Going to do a little bit of Christmas organizing, cooking, and hanging out.

Rain has been pretty constant here since around 10:30 last night. We got a good, soggy, soaking rain. It's gonna be a mess out for a few days, but our temps are going to be up in the upper 60's after tomorrow. They are predicting a little snow tonight, but nothing that will stick.

Hope everyone is doing great! Haven't got to do a lot of reading in the last week or so...peace and prayers to all!
perfect morning!
Enjoy the rest of your day!

Good morning, MMC!

A bitterly cold, snowy day here in mid-Michigan. The fluctuations in temperature are good at this time as it allows the melt-off from the previous day to sink in to the ground and lessens the threat of flooding somewhat. When it warms up on Tuesday, it could get very messy out here. I'm prepared, so all is good!

I have a lot of chores to catch up on today and some work I need to get done for the store. Hoping to have a nap later on because Palmer kept racing around the house and was jumping on and off the bed most of the early morning hours. She is now resting ~ probably recharging for another madcap evening. Ah, well ~ at least she was having fun!

Have a blessed Sunday, my dear friends!!!
busy day for you!
I is very chilly here too at -13c (8f), but a beautiful sunny day. Going to up to 6c (42f) by Wednesday again.
Hope you get all your jobs done today.

Just rambling through the posts while listening to some ragtime music. Gotta start some laundry soon, then I may make some tea and watch an episode of Downton Abbey (third season, no spoilers please!). I enjoy sipping tea when I watch something British.

It's sunny and bright here but cold. At least the snow will be missing us, last I heard.

Remember to wear something green tomorrow, or the snakes will get you!

something green? I will be at work so that eliminates a lot and the only green earrings I have a Christmas trees. Do you suppose those would be ok to wear?

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's going to be a cold day here with a high near 30 degree's and some snow showers. It looks like we only see an inch at most though. My plan for today is to just relax and watch the Nascar race. Hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

You think they will get it in?

Found out yesterday that I might have to go to Grand Rapids this summer! I love that place!

Most anything would be!

Sure!

the best is yet to come!
Any big party plans?

not really.....just having some waffles in the afternoon at my place with some friends and family.....my b-day is mostly pretty much non-existing.....not because I want to.....but because Kandice´s bday a week earlier takes up most of the extra money and nerves of the months.....lol.....just some nice time with fam and friends.....not so shabby I guess :D

Happy Sunday, track! Happy day-before Birthday, too! Have a blessed day, my friend!

Hahaha....that ´s so cute....I never had anybody congratulate me for the day before my birthday :D........funny thing....I already had my first bday congrats on facebook.....by a friend from Aussieland.....way cool

1st- Happy Birthday tomorrow!
2nd- It's amazing how fast time flies. Remember when you were younger and people told you that...I thought that was something old people say. They were right. Now, I say it. Does that make me older or more experience? Hmmmm...

Don't you worry, HMG! I plan on it! You do the same.

Uh oh...lol. I was at a New Year's Eve party once where they ran out of beer, so you had to drink wine. Never had it..tried it....thought it was good. REAL good. Several, several glasses good. Next morning, I realized that wine is from the devil. That stuff hurts!

Ballcoach......Yup....I was always laughing bout Momma when she told that time runs by faster and faster the older one gets.....and especiallly when Ya have kids!

My thoughts were always "Yeeeeeeaaaaah RIGHT!......NOT!!!!"

Of course she and everyone else was right.....and of course Kandice will think exactly the same that I thought back then, when I tell her that phrase :D

Oh......and I don´t usually do wine....prefer Beer

Cold day in Jersey today! Went to breakfast with our usual Sunday pals, came back and chopped some wood, raked some leaves, blew out some beds, came in and lit a fire and thought of all of you!

I don't post nearly enough but my thoughts are always with you and on Christmas! Oh yeah, we stopped at an estate sale on the way home and I bought a Christmas CD and a timer for Christmas lights...so I guess I'm still in the spirit!

Time flies, I'll tell ya...and I so love to read the updates from our beloved Crown, my long time friend from Christmas.com.

Hope everyone has a great day, and Merry Christmas!!!

:hi:

Good to see you back too, Jayish!

watching the gilmore girls right now and just chillin...I wanted to watch a Christmas movie today....but we went outside to teach Kandice how to inline skate....so I forgot about that

Hello, JayIsh! It's a red-letter day when you stop by! Don't be a stranger, now.

Good morning!
Feeling a bit headachey today, I may have a had a little too much wine last night. It was worth it though.
The temperatures have dropped, it is going to be cooler than it has been the past couple of days. We will be in the lower 30's today. We're going to a St. Patrick's Day parade this afternoon. We will have to bundle up because we'll be outside for quite some time. I get a break from cooking dinner tonight, we will be going to my in-laws after the parade for corned beef and cabbage.
I hope everyone is well and has a great day!!!

Sounds like another entertaining day for you. I hope your headache went away and you enjoyed your family time. :]

Coffee loving friends? I like the way you put it. ^^ Christmas organizing sounds like fun too. Hope you had a nice Sunday. :]

Exactly. :] I hope you have tried something Scottish, haven't you?

Good evening everyone! I hope everyone is having a nice evening. :] It got quite windy later in the afternoon when I went for a walk. Luckily, still no rain. ^^ Had a very nice chat with my cousin on 'Skype' and if everything goes as planned, she will come to Scotland this summer. She seems pretty excited about that and I am too. It would be nice to have her here for a week or so. We will see how everything will turn out. :]

I have felt quite lazy today. Despite the walk and cleaning the kitchen, I did nothing. Not good, I know. It will be better tomorrow, however, because I still have some uni work to do.

Sending best wishes your way.

my eldest daughter and me are just 5 days apart with our birthdays. Now that she is an adult we celebrate together.

nice to see you pop in for a visit!
Cold here too, wishing for spring to arrive.
I have not found any Christmas items lately but keep looking.

Good evening, Meceka!

Stay warm, dear friend.

Keeping you guys in my thoughts, praying there is no water damage. Glad you are prepared!

I think a lot of people may have problems this year, unfortunately.

Good luck with your chores & work for the store~

Hope you got your nap in! ((Hugs)) to you & sweet Palmer!!

xo

One summer's night neither of us could fall asleep. I'll tell you what finally worked: An unabridged audiobook of "A Christmas Carol." It was very soothing!

Great idea! I have one on my phone, as well, and love it!
