Christmas Countdown - 2014

Greetings everyone, I know....I know....it's been a terribly long time since I last wrote.

What can I say, time is just flying by, and it is nine months till you know what! It's been very busy here, and today we are having another snow storm, it's dumped almost 5 inches of snow since this morning!

My car is totally covered AGAIN!!!!! Where's SPRING!!!!!!

All of March has seemed like it's January!!!!!
I do hope all my friends are fine, all is good here, with the exception of a pinch sciatic nerve in the lover back. It's almost like new, but it slowed me down for about 9 days. Still a bit of a pinch but it's almost gone!!!!

Anything new been happening with everyone? I shall respond to the messages I've received, thanks for thinking of me.

Good morning!
We are expecting more rain today, temperatures will be in the mid 40's.
I'm feeling a little better this morning, I think my cold is already going away. Not too much planned. I just finished frying meatballs and sausage and started a big pot of sauce. Still need to throw together a tray of lasagna for dinner. I have some chores to do but other than that I want to take it easy again today. The girls will be in and out, they're all working for a few hours. And my husband will be working on the kitchen.

Very nice to see you!

I have been doing a lot of outdoor things with the nice warm weather we are having. I am still not ready for winter to be over with and wouldn't mind some snow but I doubt that is happening because of where I live. I enjoy the warm weather but not looking forward to summer! Way too hot here!

I have a new job, working as a chiropractic assistant. I did that in Las Vegas, too, for four years. I am loving it!

Snowflake, you mentioned about the hawks trying to get a 15 lb. dog. To my understanding that the hawks we have here are a smaller breed and can only lift up to 5 lbs. I sure hope they are correct on that because Maris, 15 lbs., loves it outside and is out there a lot by herself. I can never convince her to stay inside with us. She does stay in all night and sleeps right between Wayne and I in bed. I think if any hawk tried to grab her they would just drop her, she is a CRAZY DOG!!! Ha ha! She has so much energy running and jumping all the time! She really keeps us laughing with her antics!

I do have to be outside with my chihuahuas, they are so little!

My understanding was they wouldn't try for a dog Chloe's size, either. That's why Reggie wasn't worried about her sunning herself out there alone.

I know we have some bigger hawks in this area, but I also hear that they have been known to try for something, even if it an animal that they normally wouldn't, if they are that hungry. Their concern was that they carry around a lot of diseases on their claws/talons, and even them just attempting to take Chloe could kill her. So scary!! I also worry about owls. We've had that conversation before =]

Ballgames, race, and Walking Dead come on today, so there will be a little tv time. I'm also hoping to get my bike out and go for a ride. I got out of the habit of riding, but I've got to find a way to get back into it. Don't know how I'm going to find the time to exercise with a little one, but I must.

One way I can find time to exercise is to stop jabbering right now and get going! I'm off! See yall later!

Good morning, Coach! Sounds like you have another great day planned. As far as working out with a little one, you truly just have one get into a routine and make yourself do it, but look who's talking, I'm not currently doing it myself right now either. I was very good about it after I had both kids and dropped my pounds quickly. DH and I would just take turns, one would watch the kids, if home, and it worked out well. (I need to start again as well!) I know you're very busy though too, but hopefully you'll find the time. Good luck.
