Got a phone call from my mum this morning saying a delivery company picked up the parcel for me. There are more books coming my way, and much more chocolate! My friends will obviously be very happy about that while for me, it means a funeral to my diet. :lol:

Evening everyone! Although most of you are probably in mid-afternoon now.

Happy I got a bunch of Easter cards for a very good price. I decided to send few of them out for few close family members since I'm not going home for Easter. :]

Also, registered for free online conference 'Food Revolution Summit'. It seems that there are going to be a bunch of great speakers covering various issues ranging from health to food policy related. Thanks! I did - had a repeat last night, except I did 4 1/4 mile on the bicycle! I need to keep it up - that's the hard part! Lol!
I'm worried this is a sign for my hubby of how the summer is going to be! The number of drivers taking vacations isn't going to get less. Although today he only has 91 stops - compared to 114 yesterday! He wore SHORTS today! Woo hoo!!

Ahhhhhhhh, MMC!!!! It's good to be back; how I've missed you~ I'm home, can you believe it; I can't....I cannot believe that I did what I did for, well what, around 6 weeks of working 70-80 hours a week. I'm exhausted. I'm going to stay up and hang for a few more hours and then go to bed. I want to wait until later tonight till I go to sleep, so as to get my body back to a more normal sleeping and living pattern.

I'm off work for the next 4 days before I go back....I've already been assigned, to start the design on another project as soon as I get back to the office. So, starting as of this moment, I'm taking some time off. I've already taken a shower, got my PJ's on, and am sitting here relaxing on the couch.

I think the Mrs is still in shock right now, that I'm home....She's teasing me about it, right now: lol! Well, time for a home cooked meal. see ya!:munch:

Good evening, MMC! How are you all doing? I am doing well. Just waiting for pizza to be delivered, spending time with my sister and the kids. It was a long night at work again - I ended up working overtime, working 12 hours, so I was glad to get home and get to bed around 11:30.

How is everyone's day going? Mine is going well. I work tonight and then I am off for three days. I am sooo looking forward to it!!

Another gorgeous day here in mid-Michigan! I took a walk before lunch and another one after I ate ~ it was just too nice to stay inside. All my chores are done and I am going to relax for the rest of the evening as I am exhausted from this cold I have been fighting for most of the week.

Good Morning!

Paul McCartney just announced a few USA tour dates with more announcements on the way. I am hoping he makes his way nearby! We just saw him last May in Austin and now I am spoiled because we got tickets right next to the stage! How could I ever go back to nose bleed seats again??? Ha ha! The first 2 times I saw him I had to depend on the large screen to see him but this last time I could see him without it!!! I am not sure I could afford those seats again! I will not buy from resale either! They really raise the prices on them! At cost you have to be sitting on the computer as soon as they go on sale because Paul will sell out within 30 minutes to an hour! We lucked out last time and got those great seats - there were a lot of fans not too happy because they were on the computer as soon as they went on sell and did not score any because he sold out so fast!

I think Sugar understands all this! You know how it is when you are getting tickets to see Luke! =)

We will see Ringo this summer and it would be nice to add Paul to that list! Let's hope we can!

Here I go again! I got to go and get ready for the day and didn't get a chance to catch up on here!

Good Afternoon! I hope everyone is having a good day! I am just popping in very quickly. We have been busy. This morning we went to the park and when we got home the children helped me with a few house chores.

We have been playing some board games and I think we will watch a film in a bit. I have not been able to do much work today but that's ok , I am just happy that my children want to spend time with me and I am grateful that I can be here for them when they need me. I am blessed. I will catch up with work at some point At least they have been helping with the house work LOL !

I am looking forward to some TV tonight and a little down time after our day!

Ahhhhh, good morning! It's been a little while since I was able to sleep for 12 hours.....Coffee - Yesssssss!!!!!

Wow! It feels soooooo weird right now, I sort of feel, like I'm forgetting to do something or like, there is something is out of place; kind of feeling; Oh yes, I'm not working.... And I like it!!!!!

I'm going to spend all day doing ------nothing! Except for whatever I decide to do, by choice! Yes!!!!!

You know something, today is the first time that I have awaken and there was sunlight streaming in thru the windows.. Usually, I get up in the morning, it's dark outside, I get home in the morning, it's dark outside; go! fiqure....LOL!

Well, I'm going to make a big breakfast, enjoy my coffee and then wait for the boy to get home this morning. He has just called me and was asking, "Dad, can help me get my taxes done"! I like, your kidding me right; it's like the 11th hour before a due date and your just starting them now???? Kids, even when their 21, they still act like little kids...helpless! Ok, change of plans, breakfast then help him get his taxes done.....fun-fun!

Oh by the way, he's leaving for Texas again for 10 weeks of specialty schooling in the Air Force, he leaves this coming Tuesday morning....So, needless to say, I want to hang with him for a little while; he's my boy.....

busy at the store today, made the day go by real fast.
Tomorrow we are headed to Port Huron as my daughter has some stuff to pick up.
It was a beautiful sunny day, temp went up to 8c (46f). Tomorrow it will be 15c (59f) so it is a nice day to travel.
Now to get back to typing!

Good morning!
It was just about 30 degrees when I woke up this morning but it is supposed to climb in to the lower 50's. And thankfully the sun is shining.
Not too much going on for me today. I think I'm going to go for a walk after I finish my cup of coffee and get it over with. Then I have some chores to do around the house. And I may take a ride to the mall later this afternoon. I need to pick up a couple of things for myself and I have a few coupons so I might as well use them.

I have to be careful though; keep on my toes in regards to when me and the boy are going out somewhere, when he calls, and say's lets hang out or do something, 9 out 10 times, it means that he needs something and Dad's buying.....:-o The last time that happened, it was his car and when the Mrs came home and saw what I spent that day on him, out of the corner of my eye I saw him sliding around the corner of the family room, disappearing to his room. I could almost hear him say,"whoops Mom's home, exit stage left...", Dad, you can handle this.....Hmmmmmm, can we say, lets butter Dad up today!!!!LoL! Kids, ya just gotta love em~

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

Today is the first showing of "The Music Man", and Elizabeth is so excited! She was still awake when I went to bed last night, and she was up before I left for work this morning. I hope she's not too tired tonight!

We're going tonight, but Friday night sold out before we could buy tickets. Then we're going Saturday night and Sunday evening. It's been a long few months of preparation, but it should be a great show.

Now Nancy is on me about making vacation plans. I just want to go to the mountains and relax for 7 or 10 days, but I don't think that is in the cards for me.

Does anyone have any experience on Sanibel Island, FL? Good grief.

I am just excited about the holidays getting here again. Also, you know how Texas is? We don't mind having some temps in the 70's, I just want to skip those triple digit summer temps and go right into fall!


I just love bike riding! It feels great and you feel like you are gliding along, doesn't it???

I know what you mean about UPS! My brother works for them and he has to leave so early in the morning and gets in so late! I feel bad for him. I don't know how he has time to compete in 5k and 10k races all the time. He usually finishes 1st and 2nd, in HIS age group, not overall. I want his energy!!! I hope things slow down for your hubby soon!

If we had as many triple digit days as you do, I would be ready too!
I DO love my bicycle! Such a freeing feeling "gliding" along! So happy to have it out of storage again!!! Hoping to get some good riding in Friday & Saturday - Sunday is supposed to be WINDY!
Yep, them boys (and girls) get a lot of exercise! My hubby only does 1 5k per year, which we already did & he took off & ran the whole darn thing. No training. Of course he paid for that a little bit... :lol:

Well we had an earthquake last night that was a 4.1...and I slept through it! My daughter woke up and casually came and told us, "my bedroom door was moving." So apparently she woke up and just laid there watching the house shake.
