Niles (on the left) is the one we rescued from the shelter. We have had Meca for nearly 13 years. Niles went from living in the streets to owning his own home! Yes, my animals own a house, they just allow us humans to live in it! That's the way I look at it!![]()
I cannot believe that little Niles was homeless for nearly 5 years.. He was so skinny when we got him. I cannot imagine life without him! He is glued to me all the time, in my lap right now! Meca is laying next to me.

This is not even their crate but they love sleeping in it. We had used this for Maris when we were crate training her, which she does not need anymore. I went ahead and left it there and opened. They go in and out of it all day.

I can't wait to buy flowers this year, the stores here are just starting to put them out!

We are always taking silly pictures of the animals. Here is a close up of Meca's face. Her feet look so small at this angle! Ha ha!

Came across this picture while looking for the ones of the dogs. We took this at the Dallas Arboretum last year. It was inside the DeGolyer Estate that is on the property. The house is decorated every year for Christmas. This is just one of the many trees inside the house.

wonderful day today.
The good Friday service was amazing.
Spent the afternoon trying to win at a game with my family, until my eldest had to leave for work.
Now I am enjoying the peace of the day, everything is closed because it is a holiday.
Supper is almost ready and then going to put my feet up and do more nothing!
