It was just a bit cooler here yesterday but we did just manage to break the 70 degrees mark by mid afternoon.
Today should be nice as well, with no rain in the immediate forecast.
We are starting out at a chilly 46 degrees here in the NC piedmont.

Hope everyone is rested and ready for the day ahead. It is a lovely morning and surprisingly mild in temps.

Last week we planted a few herbs and I noticed that they have all sprouted! It makes a nice start to the day! The children really enjoy planting every year and they are so excited about their result. I may get some flower seeds for them to do this weekend.

The only herb I have planted right now is basil. Oh wow, I love the smell of that stuff! I also have tomatoes, yellow bell pepper and a couple of peppers that are hotter than habenero. Actually my son is planting those, I am not into real hot peppers. I have a variety of flowers planted as well.

It is going to be cloudy with temperatures in the upper 50's today.
I am having my coffee, watching the local news and enjoying the peace & quiet. My husband and the girls will all be up soon, the morning rush is about to begin!
I'm happy that I do not have any errands to run this morning, that's rare! I will be working on some chores and I have a couple of phone calls to make. My daughters prom gown came in and she has an appointment later this afternoon to have it altered. She's very excited. I can't wait to see her in it again, it's such a beautiful dress.

Another long and exhausting day here, I just cannot keep my eyes open. I did go through all the posts quickly, just too tired to reply to many of them.
Day off tomorrow, we are heading to Six Flags to start our season tickets for the year. Then to visit my grandparents.

Have fun at Six Flags! We decided not to renew our membership this year. We sure did enjoy it last year but I think I got my fill! Last year was cool because they were celebrating 50 years and had posters up all over the park with pictures of rides that use to be there. I was taken down memory lane of all the rides I use to ride. I started going there when I was 4-5 years old. (no, I am not as old as the park, put your calculator down!) Ha ha! But I am close to it!!! lol

Okay! I am shaking all over right now! We just won Paul McCartney tickets off a local radio station!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Anniversary to us!!!!!

The other day when I was trying to get tickets on presale I had difficulties getting in and the tickets were just a little higher than I wanted to pay, or I should say, we just didn't have quite enough. We had already planned to try to for general sale tomorrow because now we have little extra money. We can save our bucks now - we are going to see Paul!!!!!

I had myself, my son and Wayne all 3 call in. You had a to guess a mashup song to win. A few other people got in before him and got it wrong. Wayne knew it, got in and got it right - Enter The Sandman and Saw Her Standing There! I am shaking all over and Wayne is freaking out a bit!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

I had a good bit of work to do on my side business yesterday afternoon, then I put up the last of the replacement stop signs around town. Well, I actually have to put up one more, but I have to put a post down, too. Someone took the post AND the sign! I don't know when it happened; it might have even been years ago. I hadn't really noticed that sign (or lack thereof) until I started replacing them. Gotta load up the post-hole diggers today.

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve! My day is starting off a little rough - I forgot my coffee this morning! I'm having instant coffee now - BLAH! But it works I guess!!! I have too many bosses in the office this morning - is it Friday yet??? LOL!

It's a pretty nice day out. Kind of cloudy now, but it feels good out there. Supposed to hit 70º today. YAY! Last night I got the lawn mowed & walked with my neighbor. My hubby got Gracie's fence/flags all figured out & took her for a walk around the area. I hope she stays within the area & I hope she learns quick!!! Right now we have to take her out on a leash b/c if we chain her to her tie out, she can reach the flags & she will "eat" them! :lol: Crazy pup!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be another beautiful day here with a high near 70 degree's. It looks like the beautiful weather trend will continue until the start of may, then we are supposed to have another cold snap. Yay!!!!! Not much going on around here today. Need to work on making out a grocery list and do some more laundry. I also hope to get out there and enjoy that beautiful weather as long as my allergies will allow. wuzzup? All good over here.....the only bad thing...my favorite soccer team lost the first of two semifinal games against Real Madrid.......darn it.....just 0:1....they still got all the chances in the world.....still.....not nice.....

Kandice is asleep now...and I.....well I am not reall ytired yet, but will try to sleep asap......One of my dearest friends celebrates her 34th b-day tomorrow....so I´ll be a bit b usy by helping her with the preparations....Kandice will be in the hockey camp again and run and jump and play all day

Thanks, it did! Her 1st surgery is May 8th. Hopefully Gracie will do good with her fence too!

It's okay! I had the two days prior off. My co-workers had a party for me, so it was nice. It was busy, but it was still nice!
