Merry Morning ! Happy Pines Day!

Been a busy morning. I was invited to my eldest school to see him receive an award during his morning assembly. It is the third one this year, he is doing so well.

After that my youngest and I popped to the shops to pick up a few things and then it was back home to laundry and tidying.

I should be working now but of course I am on MMC LOL! I should go, I need to work on a project before the school run at 3.

I'll be back later. Have a great day everyone!!!

Morning MMC! not much going on today, will be dropping the girls at school, going for a bit of shopping then home to do housework!!

Could really do with trying to get my gardens done today as the weather is supposed to change after today and we are expecting rain :(

on the upside shaun and I have been looking at holidays for next year! we so need one! seems such a long way off to next summer but with us being a family of 5 holidays abroad dont come cheap so booking very early to give us time to save!! even though its over a year away I cant help but feel so excited ha! is definitely lifted my spirits!!

Hope this finds everyone well and hope you all have a great wednesday!! xx:snowball:

Good Morning, Claire!!

Hope you have fun shopping & working on your garden today!

Mid-Week Morning Greetings to One and All.

Onward we march, drawing ever so near the Season half way point.

Behold:
Days to the Season: 190
Days to Christmas Day: 232

One week from tomorrow, Guys.
We reach that auspicious marker beside the road in our journey, indicating we have passed the 50 percent point.
All down hill from there? Well, maybe it's a bit too soon to say that. Let's at least get past Summer, anyway!

Still nice here in central North Carolina, and the dry weather is holding.
Should be good right on through the weekend.
Starting off this morning, we record 62 degrees on our back door thermometer.

Don't forget the 'Pines this evening.
This is the first open house of May and theme parlor games are in the works from our friendly pumped (or should I say humped?) activities director.
"Mother, May I" is one of the games. ("Carl, May I"?)
Another one he mentioned is "May Day! May Day!" (not so sure I want to be involved in that one!)

Regardless, go.
You won't be disappointed.
Shocked, perhaps. But not disappointed.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Friends!

Whenever I'm down there's always one song that pops into my head like clockwork...I think you all will appreciate which one it is...

"Haul out the holly;
Put up the tree before my spirit falls again.
Fill up the stocking,
I may be rushing things, but deck the halls again now..."

I know most wouldn't understand why I'd have a Christmas song in my head when it was 95 degrees today! But I know my friends here understand! :)

I may have to go listen to it...

I do -- and like that song, too.

As the year pass and I close in on late middle age, I particularly identify with the lines "I've grown a little leaner, grown a little colder, grown a little sadder, grown a little older and I need a little angel sitting on my shoulder."
The song is upbeat but melancholy too. A message that you should enjoy yourself because time is moving on and it's later than you think.

Good morning & Happy Pines Day Festive!
Congratulations to your son, that is wonderful!
Enjoy your day xx

Well it looks like they are going to admit mom and do an MRI. Then they are going to sit around and scratch their heads because they have no other ideas as to why she keeps having them.

On another note, I'm going to be admitted for hypothermia soon if they don't turn this A/C off.

Thanks for all of the prayers today, Everyone!!! They are very much appreciated.

Well as the day moved on mom started looking better but a new wrinkle was added into the mix. Her blood work showed that her heart enzyme's were elevated indicating a possible heart attack. Then I found out that she hadn't been feeling good all weekend and hearing her symptoms she very well could have had a heart attack. So I guess we will see what they say in the morning.
many ((((HUGS))) and continue to pray for you all

Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be hot here in central Indy with a high of 83 degrees. Boo!! The neurologist has already been in this morning and he said mom's heart enzymes were fine overnight. That she just had a small TIA. Her shoulder is still killing her though. So they are going to do an MRI of it today to see what is going on. They also still have an echocardiogram scheduled for today. Hopefully they will get everything done early and we can get out of here today. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!

Big prayer request friends...
just found out my dad has bad esophageal cancer...
Not sure if it is spread yet but they're going immediately to try and determine.

I'm so sorry, Ryan. Sending healing prayer requests for your dad now.

Off to the spelling bee! Have a great day, all! cheesy

Stay cool, buddy!

Glad to hear that it was just a small TIA, although I'm sorry this is happening to you guys again. Hope the echocardiogram goes well- praying.
