Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's very wet today, raining since 3:30 this morning. Lulu was crying in her "room" (we keep her gated near the kitchen door at night) because of the thunder, so Nancy let her in our room. She slept the rest of the night between me and Nancy, on her back spread-eagle style. Silly dog!

It's still a busy week, and the boss is out of town, so I get extra duty...but no extra pay. :-o LOL

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's going to be a cool day here with a high in the upper 50's. It's overcast too with a slight chance of rain this afternoon. I think I actually get a day to just goof off after I get my normal chores done. There is nothing really pressing that has to get done today. So if it's not raining out, I will probably try to get a walk in and then maybe I will just sit out on the porch and people watch. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Wayne and I need to invest in a king size bed. We have all 3 dogs in bed with us every night. We are smashed up on our queen size bed but it's nice and cuddly! If we get anymore dogs I guess we will be sleeping on the floor. :lol:

We bought tickets for my mom to see Aretha Franklin!!! We will give her the tickets on her birthday. She will be so surprised, she was just talking about Aretha yesterday and how much she wants to see her.

I forgot to mention but I had another holiday type dream last night and you all were involved! A Christmas one a couple of nights ago, last night about Halloween! I dreamed that all of us here on MMC were setting up a Haunted House. I don't remember all the details but sounds like a plan to me. Are you all up to it? :lol:

In other news, today we went to the Arboretum and I just didn't feel too well the whole time we were there. I think I am coming down with a cold! My dad just got over his so I hope I didn't catch it. I have been laying in bed since I got home. Maybe a good nights sleep will make me feel better!

Well mom's appointment went okay. Her blood level was 2.1. So just barely in the good range. That is on a dose that would make most people bleed like crazy. The doctor was laughing that she was going to make mom move in with her so she could monitor her everyday and adjust her dose as needed. She also said that she was having nightmare's about her. LOL!!!!!! They kept her on the same dose though and she goes back next Wednesday to have it checked again.

Other than that, everything else looked good.

I'm glad your mom's appointment went okay ~ continued prayers for her! {{{HUGS}}}

I just received a voicemail from her- we were playing phone tag!
She said that she had an MRI, and will get the results on Friday afternoon.

Well, ready or not, we move into part ll or our journey tomorrow.


Really nice here yesterday. Still no rain and moderate temps with manageable humidity.
That might change today as rain is predicted and we may start our trip to Florida early tomorrow morning with more of the wet stuff.
For now, we have begun things at 70 degrees here in the capital city.
