Christmas Countdown - 2014

Wayne and I took my dad to the new George W. Bush Presidential Library yesterday that opened up here. This is not a political post, we just went to a historical library that was very interesting. cheesy It's the first presidential library that any of us has ever been to and I would love to visit others now. I would love to visit the JFK Library but that would be a long drive to get there. The other closest one to us would be LBJ Library in Houston. We might need to go to that one next time we go there.

Something was going on yesterday and I could not get on here, the page would not load. I was only able to catch up on a few post and got to run now. I hope you are all doing well!!! I will try to pop back on here before I leave for the day - church and work.

My mom, the kids great grandma, has been spending lots of time with them since they were born. We have even gone on 2 train trips to San Antonio to visit Sea World, the Riverwalk, The Alamo and more. We have all gone to Six Flags, water parks, parks, museums, zoos and lots and lots more. I am thrilled that not only the grandkids will remember all the things I have done with them as a grandma but they have tons of memories with, their ever so active, great grandma! She is a big kid and LOVES doing kid activities. My mom calls me all the time trying to come up with new and fun things to do with them. I wish I had her energy!!! She is already talking about taking another vacation with them. We all want to go to Disney!

My dad, their great grandfather, is a little slower on the energy side due to some health issues but he is part of the fun on taking them to the air shows and air museums and visits them often.

That is great that your kids get to spend so much time with all of you!!!!!!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to start warming back up here today with a high of 85. Yuck!!!!! I guess I'm going to head out to my sister's house here in a few for a bit and then it will be back home to watch some racing. Nothing to exciting. Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to start warming back up here today with a high of 85. Yuck!!!!! I guess I'm going to head out to my sister's house here in a few for a bit and then it will be back home to watch some racing. Nothing to exciting. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am way behind on here but how is he doing now? I hope better!

He has a terrible cough that won't quit, even though he's doing all the right things. Kept him up most of the night. He's going to try to get in to see the doctor tomorrow. I'm worrying, of course.

Thanks, Friend!!!! I don't know about fun at my sister's. She is sick and trying to pack for them to go on vacation this friday. Which is a whole other story. So I'm just running my small carry on bags out to her for the girls to use.

The racing should be fun though as long as Junior doesn't wreck out early!!!!

I'm going to play in the garage, clean my truck, mow, and then spend the rest of the day with Bambina watching some soccer, a race, some baseball, and some basketball.

Sometime during that, I will eat and use the bathroom. Don't know when, though. Hope yall have a great day and I will see talk to you in a bit!

Ahh! Fun! We will have a Mario Kart competition! I use to be good at it but I was just awful the other day.

When my kids were little we played Crash Team Racing all the time. I was excellent at that! I loved that game!

my day too is going slow since coming back from church. Worked on my course for awhile, finished test #2 and am now starting on my final assignments.
Just turned on "Tuck Everlasting" , put a roast in the oven and just enjoying the day of warmth and sunshine !
