Work week day two.
And speaking of TWO -- it's the number of days remaining unitl the HALF WAY Milestone to Christmas Day!
(And that's the same as the day after tomorrow, Yogi!)
Days to the Season: 142
Days to Christmas Day: 184
Quite warm and humid in these parts - more or less what one would expect around here in late June.
That and the occaisional rainstorm.
Right now, our morning has commenced at 67 degrees here in the capital city.
Have a Terrific Tuesday, One and All!
he is willing to pay us an extra 100,000 dollars above the original selling price; all in cash and also pay for all settlement costs and fees.....
he bumped up his offer another 35,000 dollars...
What would you do if someone approached you with the same offer?
Good Morning!:!! It sure is a good feeling, when I read that it is 2 days until the half-way point...... YES!!!!
I got a good night of rest last night, I was so tired, that I fell asleep with my reading glasses on, magazine on my chest and the lamp on....Lisa said she took my glasses off and I never stirred.... That was because of that story I told you guys about, Sunday night, I hardly got any sleep at all with my brain constantly processing everything....
I feel better today and can think a little more clearly. Gosh, Lisa and I were talking privately last night about what to do, and she started to cry;:-(. Man, that just kills me on the inside when the one you love the most is emotionally that upset....It's a very, very hard decision on what we will or will not do, moving all over again, is stressful. We decided to sit on this for a week or so, before we make any final decisions, just to be sure.
Well, I guess I will start to get some work done here at the office, especially since my boss just walked in the door. I'll talk to you guys later....:transform:
Good morning!
Just got back from the supermarket and I'm having a quick cup of coffee. I have to go back out in a little bit, the dogs have a groomer appointment this morning. I also have to stop at the pet store and the florist. We just remembered that we never ordered a boutonniere for my daughter's prom date. Eeek! I hope I haven't forgotten anything else! I also really need to finish organizing my kitchen and dining room. We'll be taking some pictures in the back yard on Thursday and there will be some friends and family coming over to see my daughter. I'm not going to make myself crazy, especially since the kitchen still isn't finish and there is still a scaffold in my dining room. But I can definitely make it much neater.
That's about it for me, I hope everyone is well and has a great day!!!
Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's not supposed to be quite as hot today with the high only reaching 83. The humidity is supposed to stick around though and we are supposed to see some more storms again this evening. Same old things going on here. Life has been pretty boring lately. I won't complain though. I've had enough for the whole year already. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!

Good morning MMC! I tried to log on last night to catch up a little, but I couldn't get in!It has been quite a week - My Dad was taken by squad to the hospital Sunday night. He has pneumonia and he is losing blood somewhere. They saw a mass on his colon, and the ER doctor said she thought it could be cancer. But the surgeon yesterday and his PA both are cautiously optimistic that it is not cancer but rather could be a bleeding ulcer & the mass could be diverticulitis. His white blood cell count is good. Colonoscopy And egd [upper) scheduled for 1 pm today - concern is he was told many years ago to never ever let anyone stick a tube down his throat again. After his stroke it took 4 doctors to get a tube in. But - what do ya do??? His stroke 17 years ago effected his swallowing & he has had issues with swallowing since. And he was never allowed to have a colonoscopy before either because of his past history and being on Coumadin. It worries me that they might mess up his swallowing more by sticking that tube down there today! UGH! My niece spent the night last night, my sis went up early this morning & I am picking Mom up around 11 & heading there for the procedure. So please send up a prayer that all goes well! Thanks!!
Hope you are ALL doing well & I'll try to catch up later!!!!
Bless his heart, I'm praying for your dad and you & your family!
Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!
Like many of you, we've been getting some serious storms the last few days. My mom has several limbs broken out of her pecan trees, but a half mile up the road there are 100 year-old pecans that were twisted out of the ground or snapped off just above the ground. These trees are at least 3-4 feet in diameter. And a nearby barn was shredded, and the roof was out in the middle of a cotton field. I'm glad mom missed all that.
In Bellville, we've had a lot of rain and electrical storms, but no real wind, thank the Lord.
These storms are cutting into my swimming time!
I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy
