Good morning MMC! Another beautiful day! BUT I do have to say - we had the birthday party for our nephews last night & normally they have squirt guns, a pool....none of that last night. We went outside to take pictures & we quickly went back in cuz it was COLD!! But it was nice 'n warm inside & cinnamon rolls were delish!

I have all the kitchen cupboards unloaded...just have 4 drawers left to go & the things that set on the counter. One thing for sure - the Keurig is going to find a new home that has easy access through all this. I can do without a lot of things, but don't take away my coffee!!!!! =)

Here is a pic of our progress on the new room...and of Gracie hanging out in her new favorite area of your yard ~ you know that puppy who needed a bath at 7:55 this morning b/c her paws were COVERED in mud ~ and I have to be at work at 8:00!!! Yup, THAT little stinker!!!

I stuck a 2014 penny in the concrete floor yesterday afternoon. Almost forgot to do that! It's hard to tell in the pic, but the new room is 20 x 20...the window on the left will become the door to the new room. Looking fwd to it all being done!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's been a busy morning. Jacob and his buddies went to see a scary movie last night, Deliver Us From Evil (he said it wasn't scary enough), then he spent the night at his buddy's house about 30 miles away. So I had to go pick him up at 7 o'clock this morning.

Then Nancy had a nail in a tire, so I had to get the tire fixed.

Finally, I was able to go to work. Whew! I'm glad I have an understanding boss-man.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a warmer day here with a high around 80 degree's. Boo!!!! I want those low 70's back again!!!! I spent the morning getting some stuff done around here this morning and now I have some work on the computer this afternoon. Got to take it easy and save my energy for this weekend. LOL!!! Scary news out of Ukraine where it looks like a Malaysia Airlines passenger plane was shot down by a surface to air missile.

Crazy that it was a Malaysian airliner again too.

I'm watching the news now, it's crazy. Sending up prayers for all that have been affected.

Hello there! After few days of cloudy sky and some rain, it has been a very beautiful, sunny and warm day here in Glasgow. :]

Went to the city center again to buy few more things for my cousin (I'm afraid I might spoil her ^^) and then came across a very nice coffee shop. In fact, it is located right in the central station from which I take trains to get to get to the national hockey center for my shifts. This is funny how I didn't see the place before. ^^ It is a very cozy coffee shop with not too much seating making it a perfect place to read or work. The coffee was amazing (they also make coffee using soya instead of regular milk which I was surprised about because most of non-chain coffee shops don't do it) and the staff was incredibly nice. I think it might be 'my place in Glasgow' to grab some coffee when bored of big, fancy coffee shops. It just seems that baristas who work in wee coffee shops put more love and attention in making every cup of coffee which always makes a drink much more enjoyable. :]

I know how you feel. It's important to get the right cup of coffee. My area is so rural, I don't get to frequent many coffee shops (unless we're shopping in other towns), but I found a very nice shop while on vacation a couple weeks ago. Nothing beats that!
