Good morning MMC! Happy Tuesday!

Not much going on here. Too many bosses hanging around! :lol: Weather is kind of funny. Much cooler. Sun comes out, then it's dreary, sun then dreary... Supposed to get some rain later on...again!

The plumber was at our house this morning. Flooring guys had maybe 1/4 of our floor installed yesterday & they were coming back this morning. Flooring peeps said it's not going to be ready for cabinets tomorrow, so cabinet guy says it will have to be next week if he can't come tomorrow. Boo! Ah well - we'll get there!! We stayed at the lake last night & I left Gracie out there this morning. I'll go let her out at lunch. She probably thinks I forgot her! :lol:

More rain yesterday but still the lower temps - the inevitable trade off around here this time of year.
Further precip is predicted for today then hopefully, we will enter a dry period.
Today has started out at 69 degrees here in central NC.

LOL!!!! I doubt it!!!! She probably eats take out for every meal!!!!

I am about to go mow the lawn. Wayne was going to do it Sunday after church and I put my foot down for him not to because by the time church lets out the temps were going to be dangerously too hot - 100+. I worry about his heart because he does have a heart condition that is under control with meds but not sure he should be mowing with temps so high. I told him I will get it done during the week when the temps drop a little. Today's high will only be 94 - thank goodness!!! Right now it's 78 degrees so it's a good time to get it done.

I am trying to give him a break but work is not giving him one this week, they have him coming in early all week. Always thankful to have a job though! =)

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I started the morning pouting because I didn't get my way yesterday, then, without any knowledge of my bad attitude, a wonderful friend's PM reminded me of all that I have to be thankful for. Thanks, Christmasstar!!

We have another group of Georgia Power engineers visiting today, so I'm trying to get some of my regular worked knocked out as soon as I can.

I really sympathize, Holiday! In between all our construction, our washer went out and the repairman doesn't have the part yet! Ugh!

Between Snowflake's skillet and Hubby's sledgehammer, I think I am all set, lol!

Come over tonight about 6 p.m. for leftover pulled pork sandwiches, cole slaw, applewood bacon baked beans, chips, and pickles. Tomorrow night is Taco Salad Pie--yummo!

I am amazed at the misuse of "your" on Facebook. It drives me up the wall! I also saw a post on FB that stated, "I am silently correcting your grammar in my mind." Had to laugh at that one!

I don't think many people on FB know how to use "you're."

Sometimes it's a bit depressing so see the errors made by people who write for a living! cheesy But then, their job is to be creative, not grammatical.

Got the mowing done a little while ago. Wayne had told me he would do it before work. I told him NO! He is already putting in plenty of hours at work and I am not babysitting the grandkids today so I got it done.

The not so good news - I am feeling awful right now and sick to my stomach. I think I might lay down for a bit and hopefully will feel better in a little while.

Thanks, Holiday. I would love to be in by Thanksgiving. We went to the appliance store to measure the Wolf stove so Hubby can get the wiring done. He has put in two of the windows, 20 canned lights, wiring for the pendulum lights, and has been getting the French door and the other doors ready for painting. He has three more windows (two are fairly large) to put in. The kitchen/den will be a little over 900 square feet.

Sounds like a good night with the boys!!! Hope you have a nice visit today! She will be happy that you have them! Hope it's more sweet than bitter for you!



Oh my! January! You are the woman ~ with an awesome attitude! Here's hoping you are in by Thanksgiving!!!
