Good evening,

We got some bad news today, my aunt called and told us my grandmother is in the hospital. She is going to pass basically anytime now according to the Dr. We are all devastated, family members from across the country are already booking their flights in. We thought we had at least a few more months with her, she has been in the hospital since Wednesday, the day after we visited her. My grandfather is in denial, and not dealing well. They have been married for 68 years, I can't imagine what he is going through right now.

Please keep us, especially my grandfather, in your thoughts and prayers.

I'm sorry to hear that, Xmas. My prayers go out to your whole family.

Her appointment will be bittersweet, probably the last time Judy will grooming her at the house. She is going to stop the mobile grooming, and open her own pooch salon. Quite a ways away. Back to the drawing board.

Anyone make that yet from the book? What did you think of it? I watched the movie Arthur Christmas. Not bad. OH well. Almost time for bed! See ya all!

Well, summer finally arrived. Two straight days of 98 degrees and I'm ready for some leaves to turn colors and things to cool off! Getting late...better head to bed. Hope everyone is doing great.

68 years, what a wonderful long life they have had together, it will be so hard for him to say good bye

when did you get your cookbook? Mine never arrived, I gave up on ever seeing it.

I like Aurthur Christmas, my favorite was when they went through Toronto.

FIVE days now separate us from our next Milestone, the 2/3 Christmas Day marker.
(My! My! Time, as marked by these Many Merry Milestones, is really zipping by!)


The weather at the beach wasn't the best. Rather warm and humid with a heavy rain or two.
But we got done what we planned and it's always nice to inspect after the rental season and
find that everything is ship shape. We likely won't go back again until early October.
Today, we have begun here at 73 degrees.
