We are good, just trying to get everything organized for back to school. Sad to say it, but I am so looking forward to Jude going back! Sassy 6 year olds can get a little bit trying some times!!! Noel will be 4 tomorrow and is very much more laid back than Jude. Veyr peaceful with just one in the house!!

Oooh snowflake, just remembered my neighbor just planted mums!!! So I won't be the first! I am happy to hear you are decorating!!

Here I am getting excited because the high on Friday will be 94 degrees. That's our cool front!

Really, really hot today in Paterson. I was helping my mother move her classroom around before the students come in on Tuesday. Thank god her room is air conditioned, otherwise I don't know how we could have done it!

Air conditioning is a life saver! Nice of you to help your mother out! =)

My granddaughter started kindergarten yesterday and said it was the best day ever! She called me and it was so cute to hear about her day. She said she made lots of friends but that is not surprising! I have observed how she interacts with others on the playground, she plays very well with kids and always makes a few friends.

It's still hard to believe my youngest grandchild is now attending school!

hot here today too, last time it was this hot was the end of June. we have not had to many hot days this summer it has been a rather cool one. We are hopeful there will be no rain for the long weekend so we can enjoy our last camping trip.

Kind of reminded me of this someone sent me a few weeks ago:

but that said, I always get the hard copy just because it is easier for everyone to circle the items they are hoping for.

Good morning MMC! Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a great weekend & a great Monday. I would love to catch up on all the posts since Friday afternoon, but we'll see how the day goes! :smile:

Our new room is pretty much enclosed now. Windows are supposed to be delivered today! YAY! It was amazing how fast everything went up yesterday. Love it!!! Now keeping my fingers crossed for no rain over the next few days!! 60% chance tonight though. Hmmmm! The crawlspace is dry, but the thin layer of mud on the bottom is all curling up. Looks pretty funky. Will have to clean it up w/ a shop vac. Moving right along now!

Hello everone. Well I've been spending a lot of time with my dad recently and he had a good day yesterday. After days of not eating he woke up yesterday and wanted ribs. He said some goodbyes and I really thought he was going. He is still here but is becoming more and more incoherent. I am so glad I had yesterday with him though. I'm not ready to lose him, but if I'm going to I'm glad we were able to say goodbye and have one last good day.

I will keep you all updated. Have a great night!

Finally done catching up.



Everything is done, today was a very tough day, once again a lot of tears were shed. We said our goodbyes, and celebrated her life. I am going to miss her immensely.



We drove my sister to the airport, she is back home in NC. It is tough, because we don't know the next time we will see her again.



I'll be off for the next two days as part of my bereavement time, I have been crying out of the blue often.



I did get a nice picture with my father and grandpa today, I don't have a lot with my grandma so I wanted one with them. The 3 of us have the same name, and I am the IV.

Good afternoon, MMC!

I hope everyone is well! Tried catching up on the Countdown, but after several "This page is not available" error messages I gave up. This is the only site that is happening on, so I am a bit bummed.

Major humidity here today and my allergies have flared big time. I keep losing my voice so I am doing research and cleaning and tagging books for the store. Polymer erasers are my best friend right now!
