Good afternoon, friends! Hope you're all enjoying you're day so far. Not a whole lot going on here today. DH, DS, and I enjoying the day together. DH is in and out, working outside and I've been trying to get some things done around the house, as well as spending time with DS.

Wew, I'm finally caught up! :smile:

Did I tell you yesterday that our countertops are coming Sept. 15th? I don't think I did. HVAC guys are coming that same day to run the duct work for our new room too! Exciting! I'm going to take that day off...I want to watch them carry in the 600 lb. island countertop! =)

Gracie was a gem yesterday. She was such a good girl after her mischievous day! Lol! That is until my sister dropped her dog off last night for the weekend. It could be a "fun" weekend. Macy does not care much for Gracie at all! Macy is 12. HELP! =) Macy growls when Gracie gets near - one or the other will be spending a lot of time outside this weekend! LOL!

Good morning!
So happy I do not have to be at the preschool today, lol. I'm just having a cup of coffee and relaxing. Not too much going on. I'm going to work on a menu plan and grocery list, maybe take a ride to the butcher. My middle daughter will be home today so I think I'm going to clean her room with her, it's such a mess. Her boyfriend got in to a car accident yesterday, thankfully he wasn't hurt. I'm so glad she wasn't in the passenger seat when it happened, he said his airbags didn't go off! He's waiting to hear if the car will be a total loss. I feel bad for him. Anyway, I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

Oh, boy, glad to hear nothing bad happened. :/

I didn't think I was away from the forum that long - less than 12 hours, maybe? I cannot catch up! You all were very busy last night! cheesy

We should finally dropped down to 87 degrees next week. I am looking forward to that!!! For now, 90's to up to 100. Blah!

No, he has not. It's at the end of the month. My mother in law, Dorothy, is a fighter. But she found out that she will be on chemo for the rest of her life, so we are having a tough time accepting that. And my dear friend's fiancée is on his way for treatments in Ensenada. We appreciate the prayers, please keep them coming [emoji175]

Thanks so much for all the prayers. Just got a text from my sister. Says there was a slight improvement - thickened liquids are definitely going down better than un-thickened. Therapy is questionable (not sure what that means) - but he was ok with it. Said they got him some frozen yogurt. Poor guy!

Thanks everybody! Hopefully somehow they can figure a way for him to continue with therapy! Doesn't make sense to me that Medicare classifies physical therapy & speech therapy the same thing, which is why he is out of hours. But there are many things in healthcare that don't make sense so we won't go there.

That's so exciting about your countertops. I hid when they carried our island top in, I was a nervous wreck. It took six men to carry it in and they were struggling.
I hope Gracie & Macy get along and have fun this weekend!
