Hello to snowflake and all of you tonight!
I just finished up some baking. Tomorrow my little grandson turns 3...hard to believe.
I have a tradition of making the little ones a very old family recipe of homemade spice cake for their special day. I also baked some banana breads and will bake some cupcakes tomorrow. The little sweetie said he'd like vanilla with pink frosting and sprinkles...so cute, I could gobble him up!
I've been recuperating from more dental work, a result of TMJ, it's been a real drag, but I know that it is just a small thing when I read some of the very rough challenges some of you are facing. I keep a prayer on my lips for each of you always!
Goodnight all...big birthday weekend starts tomorrow and this little nana has to rest up!

MerryCarey, the Edaville Railroad Festival of Lights sounds absolutely amazing! We have something similar to that in a couple of different locations nearby but yours sounds better with more to do! I would love to do something like that someday!

I found out that they have a similar event in October called Pumpkins Aglow, where they decorate the park with lighted jack o'lanterns. They also have a park with various rides and places where you can get snacks or sandwiches. I'm looking forward to visiting there with Mr.!

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

I was awakened this morning at 6AM with a call that there was no water on my side of town. I had to get up and get the well running, but it's difficult to build pressure while everyone in town is getting ready for work, taking showers, automatic lawn sprinklers, etc.

I wonder if the mayor of Atlanta gets up in the middle of the night to deal with stuff like this.

Jacob has a gig at 8AM tomorrow in Statesboro, and he has to be there at 7AM, so we have to rise early tomorrow. Then our niece is getting married at 10:30AM, so it's to run to the wedding after the gig.

Somebody has to cut my grass; I sure don't have time for it! LOL

Good evening!
So what did I do with my first paycheck? I bought my daughter a bus ticket. She's on her way home right now to visit for the weekend. We didn't tell anyone, we're going to surprise her father & sisters. Her roommate has also been feeling homesick so they decided to come home together. It's just a quick visit but I'm so happy. Can't wait until she gets here!

Good morning, MMC friends! Happy Monday! :

It's chilly here - in the 50's, but I'm enjoying it and it feels like fall! EA is 5 today! She was so excited when she awoke. I'll pick the kids up from school around 3:30 and when DH gets home from work, we'll go out for dinner.

I'm currently watching "Let It Snow", one of the original Hallmark Christmas movies.

Hello folks. Just getting back in from dinner and a real nice evening on the town with my two favorite gals....It is beautiful outside right now, The temperature is supposed to dip down into the upper 40's tonight and It feels wonderful to me. We went to Bertucci's tonight and I got a shrimp and Lobster scampi dish that was wonderful~ For dessert, Italian style cheesecake.... I'm feeling really good right about now, my stomach is happy, happy, happy!!!!

We just tried to order a movie on-line thru Comcast and it is not working. Remind me to never get anything Comcast ever again, Verizion Fios is definitely a lot better. I do believe though, that where we are moving to, my choice for TV service is either Comcast, Direct-TV or the Dish. Never had the Dish or Direct TV ever before, so I have been thinking about giving them a try. Has anyone had any experiences with them?

Tomorrow, is a going to be a day where what ever happens, happens. Meaning, no plans, just hanging out around here and doing whatever....

We have Direct-TV and have for 5 years. We've been very happy with the selection they offer, the prices, and the service.

aight partners......track is back ....sorry been gone for a week or two....always with You guys tho...just forget to post. All good over here.....Last week we had to take my mom´s male cat Tiger, 13 years old to the vet clinic......He was walking around as if he forgot where he was.....we suspected he was seeing less......The result was terrible.....He did not see ANYTHING.....blood was taken, the blood pressure, the eye pressure and stuff and the doctor gave mom some medication that would help if it was an infection of the eyenerves......We went home feeling so sorry for our sweet boy.........Good thing is....he seems to be seeing again...maybe not perfectly no more....but he is able to see......!!!!!! He ain´t blind no more!!!! YAY
