Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's still muggy & humid around here today, but the temperature is lower, so it feels like Fall might be coming soon. I hope!

I talked my cousin & fellow band mate yesterday about forming a new band with a couple local guys. It would be easier to book some gigs if the band members didn't have to drive 6 hours to get here LOL. It seems like it might work out. Seeing Jacob playing live with his group is giving me the fever again!

********** MILESTONE DAY **********




Good Morning, Everyone!

(Sorry for the delay, but our power went out at 3:42 this morning and just came back on a few minutes ago. No storm. Just some kind of equipment failure, I guess.)

Anyway!
As our headline reads this morning, it is indeed a Milestone Day here in the MMC neighborhood.
Exactly 100 days from today, we will once again welcome Christmas back into our lives!

The numbers (for confirmation of the above):
Days to the Season: 58
Days to Christmas Day: 100

And tomorrow (just in time to coordinate with 'Pines Day) we begin a double-double digit count!


Another nice day yesterday. Cool but not chilly with no rain.
The humidity is down a bit, too.
Should be a repeat today and we have started off here at 70 degrees as of this hour.

It's never too late to celebrate a milestone! So happy that we have reached the 100-day mark to Christmas! Double digits begin with a blast at the 'Pines tomorrow!

Currently, I am at Passport, wishing I was teaching. Oh well. Only two more weeka until I am officially done my contract.

Kim and I had to take our little guy Simon to the vet this morning. It was time for him to get fixed. We also had him declawed. We feel bad about the claws but it is just easier in the long run. We have been told the surgery was a success and he is doing well - just a little groggy. It will be a quiet night without him but we pick him up and bring him home tomorrow at 6:30. Hopefully he is all right until then!!
